This is what Ivanova thinks

My guess is slightly different ... May repo ending Memorial Day weekend (5/24) and the Aug repo starting two weeks before Labor Day weekend (arriving in FL on the Sat of Labor Day weekend)

I agree with her. Don't put too much weight on the other one. ;)

Thanks Lisa! Savannah says she cried last night so she is doing better today. She and daddy are looking at pictures of Golden Retriever Puppies. My dad knows we have always had rescue dogs, and told me this may cost a a little more than you are used too. I told him, I just want to buy some longevity. Our dog would have been 2 on February 24th. I just love goldens, so I hope they pick one!

Goldens can be great dogs...big, goofy,

If you are going the breeder route..... Ask to see if they have had any issues in their lines with thyroid problems (i know a few people with them and it is common in the breed) a good breeder will admit to any problems they've seen in the past (not every litter in perfect if they're being honest with you.)

OK, little poll...

How many of you would actually consider going on the Magic if it has a repo cruise in August through the Panama Canal in 2008?

Can't do that one because that is the beginning of DD's school year. (they start almost two weeks before labor day.

i'd have to do western repo in May.

I am waiting to call the doctor's office at 8:30. Two days ago while cleaning DD's ear what I thought was a piece of wax ended up being a scab or something like it and it started bleeding. Her ear is now blocked by the dried blood. She says that it stopped hurting that night when she was sleeping but I still want to know if they need to look at it. She can still hear me, so that is good. UGH! :(

After that I need to drop DS's coat off at the school. He insisted taht it was warm enough but it is 32 out there right now & it will only get up to 52 when his class might go outside. He was shivering in the car. I am tired of nagging him to put a coat on when it is cold outside. He asked me to bring his coat to school. I told him that I would think about it but I am not going to let him go outside without a coat. OY!

DD's closet is the project for today. In the past month she has outgrown the jeans she wore to board the ship...along with a few more things. I am also going to put most of the short sleeved things away. Hopefully we wont need too much of that stuff until spring. I am going to have another bag or two to drop off at my friend's house after that is done.

LOL - we are starting to have arguments like this with Giona - trying to assert his manliness or something.

Kim - I hope Savannah is holding uo ok and she is getting enthusiastic in her hunt for a new puppy. So sorry to hear your dog suffered so much.

A girl I bargain shop at Target with told me that I can't be pregnant because I'm going to be 40. THAT doesn't mean anything anymore. UGH!

LOL. I hope she is not close to 40. In fact, the highest rates of unplanned pregnancies are in women over 40. Both because they they think it won't happen and they start using less effective means of birth control.

Plus your rate of possible multiples increases dramatically as your eggs get older.

I know 2 girls whose mother's were very close to 50 when they were born - they have siblings that are over 30 years older than they are.

menopause babies are possibe - my one friend, her mom was being seen for a possible tumor in her stomach and discovered she was 8 months pregnant.
this was a woman who had several children already.

Kim, I am sorry to hear about your dog. Hope everyone is doing ok.

We would love to do the May repo through the Canal....:) Not too sure about August.

I am not sure how I am even functioning today....John and the girls stayed home to continue the celebration.

.....everyone keeps coming to my office. I hope Urban doesn't go to the pros...I completely understand why Spurrier went...but, he could and should have retired at UF....why ruin a good thing? Urban is pretty darn young though...

Amy - sorry I missed your call...actually saw it around 11pm.....almost called but thought better of it.

So much to catch up on this morning!

Kim – I am so sorry to hear about your dog. It is so hard when we lose them because at least to me they are as close as “human” friends – if not more so.

V and John2 – Congratulations on your big win! We didn’t get a chance to watch any of the game but we were thinking about you guys last night.

John1 and Amy – Sorry about the loss. We were thinking about you guys last night as well.

Lisa – It sounds like her eardrum ruptured. That happened to Nathan when he was about 18 months old. He was fine until he had blood in his ear. :scared1: We did end up taking him in to have it looked at but there was really nothing they could do. They did want to check up on him in like 6 weeks or so to see if it was healing properly. I think the biggest thing was we needed to be careful about keeping water out of his ears for a while.

Angie – While I would love to PC repo someday I cannot imagine it happening in 2008. The dates should conflict with either the end of the school year for the WB and the beginning of the school year for the EB. Not too mention that getting 2 weeks off work would probably be next to impossible and the fact that I refuse to cruise again with an < 3 year old could be very problematic for me.

Last night was pretty rough on me. I woke up about midnight in a full fledged panic attack. I have not had one in a few years (since I was pregnant with DD) so I had forgotten how scary they can be. I still don’t have any news on the baby thing but my mind just won’t rest apparently even when I am sleeping. I woke up and could not breathe and just totally freaked out at the possibility of being pregnant. I was shaking and crying, gasping for air, etc.. Poor Aaron didn’t even really know what to say too me. He is trying to be optimistic for me but I was too far gone by that point. I really just pray that we get some news either way soon because the not knowing is just so hard.

Oh becka :grouphug: So much anxiety and waiting makes you wound up like a rubber band.
