alright, I bought our Pirate and Princess tickets for 2/1. LTT for dinner that night, hope they are in pirate garb.

John is a tad ticked.....

"V, how can I get a full goatee by then?" (baby faced now)..........ummmm I don't know much about facial hair??!!

Have him talk to Todd about that sticky stuff that puts the hair on your face. :lmao:

Ok, here is the thing. The Grand Californian is a nicer hotel. It has a more upscale lobby, the restaurants are a little nicer, and the grounds are nicer. BUT, if you want the atmosphere of Disneyland, you will not get it in the Californian. The soaps are cheesier at the Disneyland Hotel, the rooms are cheesier, the restaurants are more kid friendly, and it could just be the nostalgic kim talking, but it just felt like I was in disneyland all the time. The californian takes you away from all that and is very relaxing, so I guess you have to pick which one suits you better. One thing, if you can get concierge level in the disneyland hotel, you can watch the fireworks and hear the music from the concierge lounge while you drink your soda and have a cookie.

Since i distracted Kim, from the whole tax business, on the WB thread she was freaking out at 4:30pm, lol. I have been swayed DLH it will be, just have to ask for Serria tower. A friend is at DLH right now, in DL as I type, he said DLH too.

So linked ressies at DLH?:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

OMG ---- first my poor hubby, now HALEY.
Samantha is holding her attempting to braid her hair, yet she is not sure what that is. Haley is being very good so far..............

PJ,
Thanks so much for the suggestions last night! I'm beginning to develop a plan... thinking about driving as far as Niagara Falls, staying a night or two, then finishing the drive and staying the rest of the week at the Blue Mountain Resort... lots of lodging choices big enough for the 5 of us, water park, beach, golf, tennis, kids camp, kayaking.

Marielle, if you go, we need a report. We are thinking of going to Blue Mountain on DVC points in 2010. Two hour drive, and a week away, would be cool.

:yay: :yay: :yay: Disneyland in November! YES! I'm up for it. I have Jordan's phone number. If it works out for you to go we will call him. I know he will love to see you! If you are not paying for the room yourself, our favorite is the Disneyland hotel. More magic there we think. The Grand Californian has a beautiful lobby(much like WL), but we were less than impressed with our room the one and only time we stayed there. If you have to pay for the room yourself, then across the street at Best Western is where I would stay. Much less $$, clean, comfortable rooms, and a closer walk to the entrance to DL and DCA than the Disney hotels. Keep us posted!

Are you going to have APs again in 2008? We will be there for 5-7 days before the August repo you know. :goodvibes

I everyone. Sorry I have not posted in a while. I have been busy beyond words with work and the kids. I did not even check my e-mail. It has been a week~~!!!! So unlike me! :goodvibes I hope everyone is doing well!!!!

It's Brandi, she must have sensed that we were concerned. We posted wondering how you were doing at work. We missed you.

Hi there, Brandi!!!

I was trying to catch up a bit. I need to figure out where we want to eat for our August Disney trip. I think we are going to do a bunch of Character meals because Jake is so into them right now.

Work had been stressful yet rewarding. My personal kids have been missing me...which always makes things tough.

I hope I can find some time tomorrow to catch up.

Have a good night. I really miss you guys!!!!
