I was complaining to DH and discussing my general inability to focus on completing all of this work I have to do. I just can't focus. This was the conversation:

Me: Blah Blah whine whine Can't focus. So much work to do today - items due this morning. Tedious line by line review of document...queue the sound of Charlie Brown's teacher talking. Easily distracted.
DH: Why do you think that is?
Me: Because I'm tired. I just want to go on vacation I can't focus on anything
DH: Nothing?
Me: Nothing!
DH: Have you looked at anything else today?
Me: What do you mean?
DH: Like the Disney board?
Me: Huh?!
DH: The board (I really tried to feign ignorance in my HUH - it clearly didn't work ) - when was the last time you were there
Me: last night?!
DH: laughing - right - how about this morning?
Me: (panicked - is he lurking OMG) Why do you say that?
DH: You just mentioned you can't focus
Me: Well of course I can focus I'm focused on going on vacation. They help me.(No joke - you guys are my therapy)

Then we both just started laughing
Man, he knows me too too well.

Well I need to go play a round of Disney Scene It with DH and Nathan now since I am not feeling 100% dead. I feel guilty and I can play and still sit all nice and comfy in my big chair.

Same here! I'm trying to figure out how many 1's and 5's I'll need for tips, how many quarters for tolls and then how much cash I'll need for Costa Maya (I know I need about $200 for the Ruins tour) and Cozumel. What about shopping in these ports... is cash suggested? I'm guessing some places may not take credit cards. What about travelers checks? Anyone have suggestions?

I think I'm going to paypal for ruins in advance - did anyone else?

no, no, not cancelling the 1st day - i'd booked both days (just in case - i'm obsessive like that - did it when I read someone's had been cancelled due to weather - I want to Parasail!!!)

Try finding something with Dody on it. I always felt so left out as a kid. Never able to buy personalized items. Maybe that's why I gave my kids such common names.

When I was growing up, everything was for DianE, not DianA - I guess Lady Di got that changed!

Thanks for the heads up. I called DD's pediatrician and they now recommend HepA. I just booked one for 2P. I need to pick her up early from school. She is going to be SO pissed off at me. She knows no shot shots (vs. allergy shots until she is older so this will bum her out. And I'm going to pick her up early from school too. Ugh!

every doctor i've asked just refers me to the cdc website - why not just TELL me???

Well we played the short version so it was over quickly. Lots of 5's and 6's rolled. DH won but DS was a close second. I think I was cheated because I can't answer the questions as fast as I would normally with strep and all! We will need a rematch in a few days!
