We are giving some thought to cancelling the catamaran sail and just riding around in the jeep. This way we would get some beach time in too.

The kids were a little afraid to snorkel in deep ocean off the boat - they preferred it when they could just walk out. But they are better swimmers now.

we stayed up til 2:30 am booking cars etc. ugh.

Karen - we have had several escapades with that syrofoam material too. I used to say on my Ebay purchases that I could not accept packages with that used as shipping material.

The stuff your electronics is packed in is worse though because it is thin and can be broken up into little pieces as you said. what a disaster.

there have only been a few things I have gotten ballistic about but that was one of them. BUG UGH.

I hope you are getting taken out to dinner today!!!

we looked into hotels at the port again last night - I am so glad we booked early because everything appears to be booked because of the shuttle launch.

Don't under estimate this in terms of your planning/driving time etc. We talked to some hotels live and they say the bookings are for the shuttle.

that $240. we saved on air fares we spent last night renting a car (more actually) for 2 days on either end of the cruise. It is almost cheaper to just rent for the whole period and leave the car with a hotel who will let you park there - then you can leave things in the car that you don't need for the cruise.

wow that group cabin rate is now not looking so good - I haven't even added up all the excursion costs and spa treatments - and as Joy said all the shopping.

I guess we will be vacationing in our hot tub for a while.

I thought I saw these someplace on the DIS before and they were done by the guy who draws Dilbert. I think he took his family honeymoon on DCL this past summer.

Watching ELF for the second time this week

We saw a few minutes of it last night and it looked kind of funny. Is it pretty good? I am not a huge Will Ferrell fan so I didn't know if I would care for it.

I found these on the internet some time ago. It appears to be a cartoonist telling of his cruise experience. If I knew his name I would give him credit.

I have the whole cartoon, and will post it on my .mac account folder, where everyone can download it, if they want it in one shot. It is very funny and it is about the Disney cruise specifically.

I don't know but if she went and got a life she will have to find herself a new twin because I don't intend to get a life (outside of the DIS) for at least a few more weeks!

slowly. His mantra is still "as long as I'm not expected to do anything..." aka "I'm not talking to strangers..." Actually we were driving back from visiting my MIL (I got major points for that one) and we started discussing the cruise. I mentioned V's comment in chat whether he knew I Dised and my reply to her that he does but not the extent of it (aren't I clever!). Since he didn't react I continued.

He's heard about you and John and Lisa. I've snuck Brandi in there. Today I iana - actually I started with Diana living where I traveled this week (small world) and from there I slid in mention of V and Marielle (Gators and TarHeels), Brack (his wife being a non diser), Angie and Dennis, Elaine, Kristina and Andy.

Someone on the main board got their docs for the 12/7 Wonder sailing today. Sounds like our docs should start arriving this week.

I figure they will show up when we are out of town and then I will have to worry about them all weekend. I will sprint for the mailbox when we get back!

We went to see Happy Feet too. I love saturday matinees - only $4.00 for all. It is a very cute movie.

We saw Nightmare before xmas 3D in Worcester last weekend. that was fun too.

We liked Flushed Away - very funny.

I am going to do some more today. I was able to get DS a semi-formal outfit on Friday and it actually fits so it needs to be packed with the other stuff I have thrown in a pile this week. DS looks so nice all dressed up. I got him some navy dress pants with a blue button down shirt and tie. He just looks so handsome and grown up. Of course he did not care for them a whole lot but I told him he had to wear them on the Mickey boat if he wanted to eat lobster. He agreed to that!

I have to tell you this. DD was trying to read the names on the stockings today. She got to yours and when I told her Auntie PJ she asked me if she had ever met that Aunt before. It just seemed like the right thing to put on yours.

I have aunts that I have never meet, so now Kaitlyn does too, lol.
