VII. MORE ARMADILLO FACTS:
Despite its common name, the nine-banded armadillo can have as few as seven or as many as 11 bands.
Contrary to popular belief, the armadillo does not curl up into ball when threatened.
The armadillo is the state mammal of Texas.

And... :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :lmao: :lmao: :rotfl2: :rolleyes1

Hi Kim! :rolleyes1

Had to find the armadillo info because I also associated the armadillo with Texas more than Florida. So while it certainly exists both places, it is the state mammal of Texas!

According to a very interesting and informative movie I just saw, Armadillo's are found in Georgia too...

Can any one guess what the movie was? :rolleyes1

I only have to work FOUR MORE DAYS after today!! Off all next week for TG, then 4 days and I'm done!

I think I will ship the school supplies and the beads to the ship. Pirate costumes and wine I will ship to the resort. :thumbsup2 First I need to go buy a couple bottles of Chateau St. Michelle reisling. I'm thinking 3 bottles of our "good stuff" and 2 Chateaus. That should be good for the wine tasting. :woohoo: And maybe a toast left over for the wedding to follow! :groom: :bride:

I should probably get the packages in the mail tomorrow or Monday at the latest. I assume they will hold them a couple of weeks if the mail gets them there quickly.

Becka, as long as his fever doesn't get too high, don't worry about how much medicine he takes. Give him a cool bath or a cool washcloth on his forhead. His body is fighting whatever it is. Thses things will help keep him more comfortable. :grouphug: :grouphug: :grouphug: :grouphug:

::yes::
Yesterday DS's pediatrician said that unless a fever spikes to over 102 they're not typically concerned with a fever. When it gets to about 103 and up is when you have to really try to get the fever down and need to be seen by a doctor because it's probably an illness that requires antibiotics.

OK, if the DIS geeks from this part of the country are off the boards later... it could be the storms. Southeastern PA, NJ, DE and northeast MD (maybe more; that's all I hear on radio here) are under a tornado watch and a flood watch until 6pm. Winds are starting to whip here.

Can you teach him to act like a stuffed toy?? ;)

At his age he sleeps most of the day and he looks like a stuffed toy anyway. Could be done!

we missed all the fun weather. just lots of rain and dreary skies. I was hoping this weekend would not be bad. Dh has to go to mom & dad's house & put up the high xmas lights. hopefully dd & I can get ours up. we decided we are just putting lights on the gutters. we usually have a pretty big display but I don't want the neighbor that is watching the house to have to worry about any of it. I still need to ask the neighbor's daughter if she wants to stay at our house while we are gone. the dogs would really love someone to sleep with.

Dody, I'm sorry you are going through this! My best friend went though lots os testing and they thought she had MS for a while. Turned out it was stress related. I hope they can figure something out soon. Lyme's is not easy to pin point. :grouphug:

I honestly thought all my symptoms were stress related but my doctor sent me to a neurologist and I was told that I have too many symptoms that can't be stress related (reflexes are all screwy and a few other things). It's been 4 years since they started telling me I have MS and I regularly have to get MRIs and bloodwork and so far nothing has shown up but my doctors aren't convinced it isn't MS yet. I've been tested for everything you could possibly think of- MS, Lupus, Lyme, and a whole list of other autoimmune diseases. Everything comes back fine. :confused3 I try not to think too much about it, I don't want to get too consumed with worrying about it until something shows up in the tests.

I'm glad it turned out well for your friend. It amazes me how badly stress can physically manifest itself.

So now that it is officially tomorrow.....you are glad that Emmit won too? :cool1:

I am SO happy! I read that Mario and Karina are coming across as very poor losers in interviews today.

He's fell asleep as soon as we got home. I'll be working from home tomorrow... (more Dis time!)

Yikes... sounds like something is going around amongst all the DISers kids.
