II. GEOGRAPHICAL RANGE AND HABITAT:
The nine-banded armadillo is distributed from Peru and northern Argentina to south-central and southeastern United States. It is also found on the islands of Grenada, and Trinidad and Tobago.
Its habitats include temperate forest, tropical rain forest, tropical deciduous forest, tropical scrub forest, tropical savanna and grasslands.
Armadillos like to live close to water. In places where the climate is usually arid, they tend to concentrate near streams and water holes.

:lmao: :rotfl2: :lmao: :rotfl2:

Is there anything we have yet to cover on this thread? I mean really the geographical range habitat or armadillos must have been all that was left! :rotfl:

All of this wrapping meat thing has me confused. Mine come from the grocery store wrapped up already and I just throw it in the freezer. Is this a stupid thing to do? :confused3 I never knew I was supposed to use freezer bags...... :confused3 :confused3
Technically - not supposed to go straight to freezer like that, but I do it all the time, especially if I'm going to be using it within the week, otherwise freezerbags

OH MAN! This is SOOOO familiar! DD#2 and DrHug - who is very good at math (but I love him anyway! :teeth: ). DD had a teacher that taught them "his way to do it", the book taught a "different way to do it" and DrHug tried to show her an easy way. OY! Tears, tears, tears. It HAD to be done the teacher's way, but she didn't understand it, there was no way to help her since the book was still different and DrHug had no clue what the teacher was teaching. I, of course, hid out in the kitchen baking or something!! Well, she did pass, but that was her last year of math.

It shouldn't matter. As long as you are doing the math in a proper fashion that gets you the answer, it should be right!

and they usually die on the side of the road! At least in Texas and Oklahoma.

Becka, I think having 2 sizes of sand buckets is a good plan. Nathan can build a better sand castle with different buckets to mold and stack, right?

Or alternately Allie now has 2 she can steal..... ;)

Got a printer question for you techie people.

....and I'm sure the answer is....depends on teh printer....

I've got an HP Photosmart 8450...it requires 3 cartridges....my DH bought 3 cartridges....The first 2 were exactly the same...a #99 for a #99 and a #97 for a #97. The last one currently in my machine says #100. The one DH bought was a #96. The one in the machine says "Gray Photo". The one DH bought says "Black"

guess if we use it for photos and I'll be using it for T shirts, I should run to Staples and get the right one, right?

....i.e. - someone needs to tell me to get my lazy bottom out of the chair.

...and does anyone know what time Staples opens?

Just check on the sales floor both the #96 and the #100 are for your printer, the basic black option is #96, if you want nicer photos, especially if printing black and white, use the #100. Are your designs fairly solid colours? Go #96. More photographic, go #100.

That is was at work Penny, you will see at Disney aunt Pj on the trip.

yeah, they are usually the front runner at the "You Kill It We Grill It Cafe" down here! Along with possums and racoons.

Number two cause of deaths for Armadillos. Number one is being run over by rednecks.

Can you tell that I REALLY do not want to be cleaning the messy house so I am wasting time googling armadillo and freezer facts (specific to Missouri)? Anything else I should google?

That thing on my husband's shoulder....anyone wanna take a guess other than bathroom bat? :lmao:

I have to say I am not impressed with the movie selections. I guess I don't want to spend a lot of time watching movies anyway. I figured we would take the kids to see Cars but that will probably be it for us. If DH and I have alone time the last place we want to be is in a public place.... ;) Just kidding.... :)

WHOA - The sky just OPENED UP here and it is POURING!!!!
My neighbors across the street just left today for Florida. Driving down their RV. They will be going right through all of that! Of course her DH didn't want to wait one more day.

Well, if he still has that growth on his shoulder, maybe he'll have to stay in a dark theater or the dark cabin!

Some more interesting facts about the Texas state mammal. Apparently Texas is greedy and has decided that they need more than one state mammal - they actually have three!

Small State Mammal - the already mentioned armadillo
Large State Mammal - the Texas Longhorn
Flying State Mammal - Mexican free-tailed Bat

I did have a cruise nightmare last night. Our inside room was far smaller than I expected and I started feeling claustrophobic. Then we got sick and had to stay quarantined in that little, dark room for the trip and we didn’t even know if it was night or day. I wonder if this is my subconscious trying to tell me I made a mistake by downgrading? :confused3 How dark is the room with all the lights on? Will I need some additional light? I know we will need some night lights when we are sleeping but do you need more during the day? I am glad we saved money but this whole thing is obviously still making me really nervous. I knew what to expect with our previous Cat 9 room and now it is all just a mystery.

Becka! :grouphug: It will be fine. It is not that dark in the room. Even at night there is some light coming in under the door from the hall. You will have a great time and have lots of money to spend in the ship's stores! :grouphug:

You lost me at "got a"...

I'd follow the numbers pretty close. Ask the Printer geek at the store which one you need..there is usually a small book hooked to the shelf that will confirm the numbers you need according to the printer type. Just tell him you are doing t-s**** (<---- he he) for the DISers and...(yes he WILL call security)...he should be able to help you.

Is this my newest Geekness?
