We see MGM as more of a "go see" place than a ride place. We enjoy Muppets, Indy, and want to see the stunt show. DrHug and I will need to do TOT also, but Aaron probably won't do that with us. We will have to take turns.

TOT is one of my favorites after last trip & I was looking forward to riding that & RNR but WDW is for the children & I will have a better time riding less & watching the kids enjoy MK more.

Exactly! Maybe that person should keep their kid out of the pool so it will not be so crowded.

You know....that makes complete sense!!! Why would anyone be at either of the kid pools if they themselves don't have kids to go in them???

Good Morning!

You guys were busy last night. Must have been working hard to get that #1 ranking.

Sorry I missed the party but unfortunately Nathan is still running a fever this morning so I had to stay home with him. Normally this would be a stressful thing for me but right now I am so thankful to have a little break from work. I will still need to work some from home but to at least be away from my office for a little while feels great. Plus I can DIS a lot today!!!! Since I missed 52K anyone up for 53K?

Actually I was not back until after 11:00. I of course had to have lots of problems with datasets that has not been restored and the server being down so I had a lot of time to sit around and wait for the recovery team in Chicago to get things set up for me to test. I just can't seem to catch a break!

Dennis I got the logitech MM32, very cool, they have a travel bag. Not bad sound and under $100. I would love Bose, but not in the budget.

Should be our last big blowout - the 12/9 cruise thread is going to blow past us. They are on a mission.

OK I know I have been stressed this week and since this thread has been my salvation particulary lately this has me ! THEY want to complain about US being competitive for being silly and then they want to talk trash. Good grief! I don't think anyone here EVER considered this some kind of real competition we were just having fun here with everyone enjoying getting to know everyone else. I think all of us are shocked that we have this many posts and it is not because we are just mindlessly posting (well most of the time) but because we are all shocked that we have formed such great friendships on this thread. They sure are acting like a bunch of sore losers over nothing!

My doorbell rang last night..I told the boys to see who it was without opening the door....they said...it is a big truck outside....I had hoped it was our docs even though I thought it was early.

...just some more Christmas presents I ordered.

This is really sad, but I don't think we have ever had a Passporter.

Angie - You really need to get one! I thought I had read every guidebook out there for WDW and of course with the DIS I had read so much info but the Passporter suprised me because it actually had some stuff I had not read and it is the most well organized guidebook out of all of them. I really love mine!

Actually I bet you will be on the port side and I will be starboard but I am sure our kids will manage to escape to the other side.

I got an email from my Dsis today......

Her and her DH are both in Air Force Reserves. My BIL (also an Andy. HA, HA) got back from a year of active duty about 18 months ago. He was in Kuwait for awhile, then back here in Dover, then at Ramstine in Germany.
Dsis was a wreck during that time with a 1 yr old and such.... (Which is how my 16 mo Dnephew ended up on the Sept 04 Wonder trip with us)

Now my Dsis is working full time for about the last year and her DH is being called up again. They say it's only for 6 months though... But the sad part is that this time they are required to take their weapons with them.

Guess where .....



Afghanistan.... They won't have any kind of cushy jobs either. It's kinda a guard the plane while we fix it or load stuff and don't get shot at or your head blown off.....

He leaves Jan 15th..... My Dsis's b-day is the 16th (There's a present)

To top matters off...Her base is closing and their unit is being relocated and they want her in a unit that travels to FL for duty weekends....Like yah with a 3 yo..... I wish i lived closer so i could help her out...She's in NE Philly.

Kristina - so sorry!!! Wish I could help a fellow Diser - family. We're closer than you, so if you or she needs anything, please give me a call.

And I want to know why those folks over on the "Pet Peeves" thread don't understand that. More than 2 had said "kids running and screaming in the halls." For Pete's sake it's a Disney Cruise, they are excited, they are children. Excited little children streaking the halls and squealing with joy should not be an irritant!

We should be save on Deck 6 forward....I know all of you guys will understand.

I can't help but wonder about some poor non-DISer on our cruise who finds the boards and joins in about 6 months. Someone will start a thread like that or on the strangest things you have ever seen on DCL and then the stories will start to come out. Then there are the stories the CM's will have to tell to future cruisers as well.

I say we wait about a year to publish out book by then out exploits will be legnedary and people will be clamoring to read about it from us first hand!!! We are going to be gazillion-aires......or maybe just $1.50 richer each!!!!

I think I will take a couple of hours of SL today and come home early. Tough day today planning a memorial service for my ex-boss. Having to plan it with people that I know did not even like or respect him has given me a major headache. Locking up the emotions...not good. I just wanted to tell them to just shut up and leave my office because I KNOW who you really are, but alas I work for them, so......
