DrHug said:A friend of mine, and fellow VietNam Vet, was once asked what it was like to be in VietNam. His answer really hit home with me and made me realize why I was so stressed all of the time too. He said to think about the 'Scaredest' you ever been in your life, then multiply that by 24 hours a day for 365 days. THAT was it exactly. I did 2 tours and was a mess with me and I'll Kick Your A** kinda person and that was not good. SO, now I am DrHug, and have adapted to the PTSD on my own. It's just not worth it to stress to death. I still get tweaked once in awhile, by something or someone, but am able to instantly cool down. Not to say I was a bad guy running around looking for trouble, but I did have a temper problem and if someone mistreated someone in a bad way, or cussed in front of my kids, or was overtly threatening in any way, I was in their face. Laughter and not taking life so seriously is much better. AH, poor MrsMork. How she must have worried about me.![]()

Sorry. But, hey....this is a good place to vent... I usually don't open up about that stuff too much. But...
I Feel Good.....................James Brown.
By the way....Happy Veteran's Day to all you Veterans out there. I was bunkered up for the weekend. And to all of the Awesome guys serving everywhere. I Salute you. I know the guys in Iraq and Afghanistan are feeling what I just described. God Bless you all.
kimerinc said:I heard, I am just trying to figure out how they are going to become wealthy so they can afford to take all of us in our old age. Since Savannah has decided to become an Ice Skater, she may have to sell a Kidney. Of course Sophia could be a famous model and Kaitlyn could be a movie star, so maybe you all will take pity on us with a non professional athlete.
Wouldn't that be funny though? There are some very very cute 7 - 10 year old boys in this group, and they are from good families... In 10 or 50 years maybe a DIS wedding?![]()

BuzzBoyMom said:Becka - I hope he feels better soon!!!
My DS left school early b/c he said he wasnt feeling good...the mom instincts raised....here some kids told him the costume his mom made (Remember the lion episode) was "stupid" and that hurt his feelings. Soooo....we had to sit down and understand that kids do mean things. I asked him if he liked the costume and he said it was great. I told him it wouldn't hurt my feelings if he didn't wear it. (one of these days I'll post a picture)....
...but hang in there Becka. You've been thru so much latesly. Wish we lived closer....I'd bring some soup over for him and a bottle of Margaritas for you!!!
Here the costs are the same; DSL might be a little less (hard to say with all of the specials both keep running). I think you have to get a local answer. (Which provider works better... and what is better in your neighborhood) We have one of the best DSL connections in our neighborhood because of where our house is located. And too many cable customers in one area can be a problem.lbgraves said:So is it worth the extra $180 per year?
DGS got one so he and his buddy can watch movies. We are getting one.Jhalkias said:I am really glad to see you are enjoying the iPod Dennis!
Nice to see that Angie is enjoying it too.
Did you know you can buy a thingy that splits the output to two headphone jacks? As much as you two enjoy just sitting together, I can just see you on the couch with that iPod, both with headphones on, holding hands and smiling.
It is one of the BEST things (gadget wise) that I have ever bought.
