Hello, I am Christine and my DH is Joey. We just got back from our first Nanahead Cruise and had an amazing time. I usually tell people that Joey is very anti-social so don't expect much from him but he proved me wrong last week He was more social than I have ever seen him . We don't have any kids (yet) but have two Pomaranians (Stitch and Kelly Clarkson) that we treat like our kids (when's DCL going to do a doggie cruise?). We own an Italian Cafe which Joey runs and I am an Executive Assistant for the Water Authority here in Las Vegas. We are originally from New York (you would never know from our accents) and have lived in Vegas for 8 years. We love all things Disney and go to Disneyland about 3 times a year...we even got married in Disneyworld. OK I have to go and catch up on 200 pages

BTW... we're having a little excitement here in Omaha right now at a mall near where I work. We're in "lockdown" here in our office...

They think 5 people were shot and they don't know who did it at this point.

So glad I went to Toys R Us instead of the mall at lunch!!

Hey Lynn, dont let Lorna scare you..... true they sometimes have a habbit of changing overnite.....I mean they go to bed one eveing your sweet little girl and wake up another person!!!!!!! but actually people say boys are soooo much easier to raise......I think my Jimmy was harder to raise than my Heather....but Jimmy was a really moody kid (not so much now) where Heather wasnt that moody.....so either way......she will be your little princess and you will enjoy the heck out of her and get to dress her in all thoes cute little girl clothes. My friend and I went to baby-r-us for shower gifts one evening after work.....we got there about 5pm and finally at about 6:15 I told her we better get shopping for the shower gifts.....we had so much fun looking at all the stuff there and the girl clothes.....they were sooooo cute.
anyway......enough rambling

Christine and Joey welcome to the 08 nana cruise looking forward to getting to know you over the next "few" months.

Hey everyone, Well home work did not go so well with DD. She was crying, I was upset We called her friend who is very good in math and she helped her out. Some times she does better when it is not me helping her DH usually helps, but he is working tonight.

We just returned from the Nana Tour and have booked for the 09 Party Looking forward to meeting nanas from last year. We loved all the nanas we met Shell your the best!

I'm Maryellen(Meme) married to Larry and we have 1 son Parker(6). Are there any kids close to this age? I'd love to have Parker make a friend before the cruise, will make it so much easier for the kids club.

We are both self-employed; I operate a children's theme party business and dh runs a home-improvement/painting company.

We have weather in the low 30s and snow - yuck. Laundry took forever and now needs to be put in storage - no shorts or flip flops here Beginning to put up christmas decor should be done by the weekend.

Mel - so scary to think you are close to that mall. Glad you were not there

Christine - maybe we can get some dancing in on this cruise? I really want to spend a nite in the rockin bar dancing the nite away

well we are still cool this morning but 70 by afternoon, then 80 in a few days.

I did some shopping yesterday and will go back out for a couple more things today. I have 2 boxes to get in the mail soon or they wont arrive in time for Christmas, so I better get with it!!
