Ok, 2 Brownie buttons today for Brantley:thumbsup2

We have nice sunshine this afternoon but its still cool outside:goodvibes .
Greg is feeling better now, so just a 24 hour bug, I hope!!

I think we have narrow it down to 3 houses we may purchase before we head back to Florida. We may live in it and keep renting our home to the current renters, if they want to stay and I believe they do.
We will chat some more about them, then decide if we really want to buy.
2 of them are new and we have gone through them a before moving to Oregon . One is in the same subdivision where our current home is at, the other is maybe a mile from there, the 3rd about 3 miles from our current home. So it would be easy to keep an eye on our house.

Prices are just so low, its hard to not buy something right now.;)

Have a good evening everyone, although here it's only afternoon.

Hey Kathy,

Savannah is doing better. She is back in school. She seems to have problems with her sinuses often.

How's life out west??? Are you heading back to the sunshine state anytime soon?

Yes Lizzie went to school and Emmy to preschool but she has a bad ear infection so she is on antibiotics

Things are quite busy with me but I'm stuck on a couple of projects. Hopefully my brain will disengage tomorrow and I can get a ton done.

Just spent some time catching up on posts!!!!

Where did Dawn go??????:confused3

Jeff, great pictures from your trip. How did you like WDW at New Year's? How was the crowd? Did you spend NYE in any of the parks?

Dawn, didnt book this cruise so she thought she shouldnt be posting here. Although she will say hello now and then. I think she booked the 12/5/09 cruise. It is an eastern. Not 100% sure though.

We arnt booked yet either, but since we are hoping to go still, I am posting. Just in case I want to know people. Just need to see where this crazy economy goes the next few months. Since Greg is in the home building industry work is very hard to find. Plus we are booked on a 14 day 2010 cruise, so I want to make sure I get that one paid for too.

So keep fingers crossed for us!!

gotta run,

Kathy

Hey brantley
Our trip between Christmas and New Year's was one of our best ever. However, it was packed everywhere. We really had to plan our days well and get to the parks early early morning. New Year's Eve we went to Epcot for dinner at Le Cellier and that was great. We came out to an early showing of Illuminations - also great. But the crowd was REALLY building and it was just too much for us. So we went to the Boardwalk where they had a DJ, dance floor and drink stations set up in the center. Stayed there for a while and had fun then returned to our Villa to watch the ball drop. All in all just a great trip. We are already booked to go back next year same time.

Good morning everyone,

Well we are over the viruses, but now Greg pulled a back muscle at work yesterday.:sad2: He went to work today, but I wouldnt be surprized to see him come back early. He has 4 appointments with clients today or I don't think he would have gone at all. He still had some prescription meds from last June when he hurt his back, so he has those to help. This has been a bad week for him.:headache:

Today is foggy and in the mid 30's and headed for 55 today. Now our rain/wind storm is suppose to hit Sunday and Monday. So saturday may still be a descent day here. YEAH!!

Hope everyone has a good thursday today. Tomorrow is Friday:woohoo: :woohoo:
Then we will be a week closer to our cruise!!!

Hey Jeff,

Sounds like it was a great trip. I have often wondered about crowds during the really peak times but it sounds like you managed it well. We have never been to the boardwalk area. I would like to make it over there at some point and check it out.

We own DVC at the Beach Club so it is our favorite part of WDW. And being there at that time of the year is great because it really "extends" the holiday as everything is so Christmas-y. So long as you don't think you are going to waltz into the parks and ride everything you want, and make plans both in and out of the parks, you'll be fine. For example, on NYE day, we walked into Epcot around 11 a.m. and all fast passes for everything were already gone (and the rides were open until 1 a.m.).

plus your BFF was there so that was a major benefit in going!!!
