11/26/2011 EARLY Bananahead reunions cruise

Well a couple of weeks ago I read somewhere that 9/12 at noon was the announcement for the Dream but we couldnt book until the end of October

Thats why I was bummed I wouldnt be able to check it out tomorrow because NO internet at moms.

Well i hope they will let us book by 11/7 if your right because we will be on the magic and want our discounts. i guess we could book regular then rebook on our 2010 to get the discounts but by then the price may have gone up too much and we would actually be loosing $$ if we rebooked.


Guess I wont know anything for awhile.
If they announce something tomorrow and somebody here catches it, please post it on sunday so I will know too. Thanks,

Janel wants to do an Alaska cruise, but we'll probably go with NCL or RCCL for our cruise.

I went car shopping with my mother (long story short) left the house at 10am, but didn't finish until 6pm.

She did end up with a sweet new ride though.

I was also thinking about the alaska cruise, however, I kinda like to sail during the colder months, where we go to warm weather and then get to go to castaway......I would miss castaway......so I think i'm gonna stick to the caribbean.....i can also go to alaska on another cruise line.
Just my thought.

So Dawn, when are we getting some pictures?

Denise, I rather cruise when it's cold here too. But going to have to change the strategy for the next few years. Just don't think that taking the boys out of school is a good idea during high school. So, it's summer travel for a while. I was thinking about Alaska even before the new itineraries came out. I figure it's a sign that Disney announced that they were going to Alaska.

Well I am home from a even more stressful weekend than last weekend, but I survived. Just a few more weeks and it will be vacation time

I did get the craft items I needed to make FE gifts for my next cruise, so I will see if they turn out good or not. I wont say what it is because linda would see it and then would know what she is getting

If they dont turn out good then I will say what it is. I am not good at this stuff but will try a couple and see if I like them.

No Alaskan cruise for us, maybe in 10 years. Just too cold even in summer and to really see stuff there you need to do excursions which are very spendy. They are worth every penny but we just dont want to put out that kind of money for excursions right now and when we go we want to do everything we can. I have a friend who has gone a few times. Plus a couple more who have gone to Alaska. They all loved it but were bored on the ship.

well time to go and relax, will check in tomorrow.

Denise, any serious lookers at the house? I projected my "presence" their for you this weekend since you were to cheap to send me a plane ticket.

Today has been one of those lazy Sundays...not much going on after church. Tried to take a nap, but the kids wouldn't be quiet.

We took a family vote tonight and decided we're going to jump ship and sail on a 10 day Royal Caribbean cruise in March instead of the Norwegian cruise we have booked.

My kids took one look at the water slide on the RCCL ship and that's all they needed to change their minds.

morning all,
we have a nice cool morning and only the 70's this week so maybe I can save some $$ on the electric bill.
Tuesday or Wednesday we are going to change our licenses and plates on the car to Oregon since we will be here for awhile.
I have to take the written exam I freeze on tests so I am really worried about passing it. I have been studying but I still failed one of the example tests, passed 2 of them.
My head is so swirling around these past few months I just cant seem to concentrate very well but I am out of time.
So send pixie dust my way for which ever day we go. It will depend on when Peter can stay with the dogs for a few minutes. Just one more thing for me to stress about.


Today I hope to try and start my FE gift for my next cruise. I sure hope it works. I really need for something to go right for a change.

My pups are both laying at opposite ends of the couch snoring and covered up with their blankets, they look silly and cute at the same time


Greg I hope your new cruise will work great for you. Did you check and see if there were age or height restrictions on those slides?? Some lines do have rules about that and they do enforce them. Dont want the kids to be disappointed (the younger ones especially)

Well off to get some cleaning done so I can try out my craft project.

Morning everyone, not much going on here except re-planning my vacation next month. Now that I have the food plan I keep changing ADRs. I don't think I am going to change it anymore but that's what I said the last time I changed them so we'll see.

Chayce I'm sure will be to big for the water slide, but the other kids should be fine. Chayce was drooling over the teen clubs they have on the ship, so I don't think he'll miss the water slide.

Sounds like the kids are all set to have a great time.

I have been getting insurance quotes today. Our current insurance only clovers Florida residents and it expires on the 29th of this month.

So far they are close on their bids. Still too much in my opinion though.

Kathy, how did the test go?...or did you take it yet?

I just finished getting our cruise switched over to RCCL. I think we made a smart move....we ended up with a much larger 2br cabin, twice as much OBC, plus an extra day on the ship and it was less money!

I'll miss seeing Barbados and Virgin Gorda, but we'll do that cruise another time.
