Christine, I didn't gain a pound! They really are alot of options out there now. Unless you were like my daughter and had to have everything chocolate! Chocolate cake, chocolate shakes, Mickey bars,... But then you walk it off! The fruit desserts were to die for! They even had fruit bars at the BBQ as an option! Christian lost weight!

Oh yeah, I am all about chocolate. I have already looked at the menu and most of my meals will include a chocolate course.

Christine thats a great amount for 2 weeks Keep up the good work!

I know with all the walking at WDW you may even loose some more weight, even with good meals. Just make sure you are active after each meal.

Howdy gang,

well we are also cooler at night Greg but our days are way above normal. Going to be upper 7's to 80 until monday then into the 90's after that for a few days. The first day of fall is suppose to be 95? Thats at least 20 degrees hotter than normal.
We have broke records for how many days we were 90 and over this summer and over 100 for consective days too. those records I dont like breaking!!

I think you guys must of taken some of the heat with you from Florida when you moved?!

I've been trying to convince myself to tear the exterior wall in our dinning room out and extend it another 8-12 feet....I'm just not feeling motivated though?!

Gosh Greg how big do you need your dining room anyway?
Do you have a table big enough for King Arthur and his knights???
Thats a large addition.
Better get motivated soon or it will be too cold to do it and you'll have to wait until next year. Or is that the plan

Somehow we seem to always get volunteered to host our families Thanksgiving, Christmas and other parties, so I figured it was time to make the dinning room larger to accommodate everyone.

After remodeling our house last year after Brayden left the water running and flooded everything.....I'm just not feeling the urge to tear down walls this year?!

Plus I've developed arthritis in my hands, so I know its going to hurt if I start a construction project.

Well I came on last nite and typed a nice long message, then my computer froze up and I had to shut it down......I was upset enough as to not get back on at that point.

House showing.....well it went ok the other nite....last nite I ended up with one that I knew nothing about. My realtor and this realtor seemed to know about it tho....luckly the house was clean and I was able to let them in to view it....hopefully they liked it and will be back for another viewing.

It's actually very nice out here today.....in the 70's sunny and a nice breeze.....now I'm hoping it will stay this way thru the weekend. I'm going to see Toby Keith saturday nite and its at a outside arena.......altho my seats are under the pavillion.

Not much else going on here.

46 degrees here this morning. I like the nights cool. Hits the 70s during the day--perfect! Bad on arthritis though.

Not to much going on today. Chayce and Nicole start piano lessons today with their new instructor. Their old instructor moved so we had to find another.

Not much going on this weekend. Although I think we might sell some of our old gold. My friends have been doing it and getting lots of $$$$$. I hoping it's enough to pay for some of our trip. I have so much stuff from when I was younger but there are pieces I just can't get rid of. However, if I'm offered enough money I might consider it.

Dawn, no maps yet. But they may show today. Sometimes we get things in 2 days other times it take 7 to 9 days to get things from out of state. I will let you know when they arrive

We are having cool nights too but hot days. Today wont be too bad, only mid 70's but next week is back to upper 90s for a few days. We have broken all kinds of heat records this year in Oregon. I think the heat should go back to Florida!! Of course when it does cool off I will be complaining about the cold, because as Dawn said it hurts the arthritis

Denise, I will keep my fingers crossed for you! Houses are so hard to sell right now.

Who has plans for the weekend?

We are doing the usual accept this weekend we need to actually clear out our food we have there for staying on weekends. Then get the stove and frig out to my brother and saturday we will bring my MILs new stove and frig up and fill our trailer twice with her heavy things. So she will be partially moved in before the final move the following weekend.

Greg has a lot more remodeling to do so we will continue to go every weekend up to our vacation but since some of his family have bad allergies to pet hair we cant go and stay ther with the dogs while he works.

So we will drive the RV up there and stay at the local RV park about 5 minutes drive from the place for the weekend. So I will have internet for a change. It is slow but at least I can check in starting in 2 weeks over the weekend.

That way if mom has a good day i can go and visit and see my brother while Greg works. My son said he would stay with the dogs while i went, so thats good. I figure I can use the time to finish up my FE gifts.

My plans goin to see Toby Keith saturday!!!!! he is just so cute...there are 6 of us going so it should be a good show...Trace Adkins is opening for him....so basically 2 hunks to sit and look at all evening....dont know if I can handle it......just wish I was a few years younger!!!

Well not much else is going on right now...

No weekend plans for us. Next week we're headed to Park City for a few days to ride the Alpine coaster and go clothes shopping for the kids at the outlet malls, but other then that we're sticking pretty close to home until our cruise in March next year.

I think because we're not cruising this year and the fact that most everyone has jumped over to Facebook has seriously cut down on the DIS chat.

I started using a new web browser today (Google Chrome) and it seems to be a little faster then Firefox.

I guess I'll give it a test drive for a day or three and see how I like it?

I've been looking for a new family computer for Christmas.

Those new Intel i7 quad core processors look pretty darn fast. Maybe it can handle my HD video editing program?
