I'm sure Greg wouldn't mind a bit if he looked and saw a few thousand dollars added to the credit card. I could just say I am trying to build up our Disney dollars

Nobody can book until sometime in October We will probably book while on board in November to get the discount and room credits.:thumbsup But it is a done deal we are booking!


Greg, where's my finders commission for selling the RV?
Didnt i tell you I sent those people your way. They wanted my rig but since i have to live in it I sent them your way. Guess they finally settled for 2nd best

Of course now you will have to go out and get a 2009 one
They have some great buys right now due to the economy.

I did look on line and found rolls or sheets of cork but I need it already cut.
I checked local craft places with no luck too. I will check a couple more in Salem this weekend, maybe in Milwaukie too if I get the time.
My SIL is looking for me too.
I cant believe it is so hard to find

I think until they get a handle on the West Nile virus around here we'll avoid camping for a while, but yeah our next RV is going to have "slide outs".

Not sure what brand but Greg likes one that has 4 slides in it. I told him some of the places we camp we wont be able to open all of them, the spots are too narrow Of course just traveling around the states would work great in RV parks.

Everytime I go to my moms we go past the Marathon factory. They have started up again. All those million dollar coaches sitting there shinning like the million dollars that they cost!! Honestly I wouldnt want that kind. All the fancy lights and counter tops arnt practical to me. Just a bother to have to keep clean. They are beautiflul to look at though.

Yeah, we've got family that own a couple of those fancier RVs, but they also don't have any kids.

If I got one of those fancy RV's I'd probably end up on that TV show "Destroyed in Seconds" once my kids got a hold of it!

I just havn't got back in the swing of watching how many posts are posted on the page like i use to do. As soon as i get back from our next cruise maybe I will be able to concentrate on beating the tar out of you and Brantley when he shows Bobby. He and Joanna use to snag the top a lot.

Kathy, they are called cork mats and I saw some at Amazon and Lowes. The size was bigger than I think you are looking for. There were alot of other sites to look at.

I actually found what i need on line after 2 more hours of searching this afternoon. But i hate to have to send for it. I really think I should be able to find it around in a store in Salem this weekend. If I dont find it then I will have to order them on line. I just want a couple to to experiement on to make sure it is what I want before buying alot of them. I am el cheapo!!

I sold our RV last night. I hadn't really planned on selling it, but we had someone drive by and see it in our driveway and they made me an offer I couldn't refuse.

Not much going on here....I did get a call for a showing tonite, however, I needed to do some cleaning so I gracefully declined....I know I should not turn them down, but trying to run home on short notice and make sure things are in order, is just crazy and I hate it....they are supposed to give me 24 hr notice....not 3 hrs.

Cant wait till noon tomorrow......to see where were going on our cruise!!


did anyone see the slide on the new carnival dream? it looks pretty awesome, we need that for the adult pool on the new ship.

I did see their slide....the Carnival Water works!

The other ship that looks really fun is RCCL's Oasis of the Seas!

I hope DCL's new ships have a better kids pool and bigger water slides!

Howdy all,

who has plans for the weekend?
Somebody must have some fun things going on before winter hits!!


I will be doing the usual going to moms so Greg can finish the bathroom.
I will drive to his moms tomorrow and bring her to moms house to unpack a few of her kitchen items. Then she will write the check to officially buy the place.
I am really happy a family member is buying it but it still is hard to let it go for me. I know mom can't come home again but somehow having her home still there like it was waiting for her was a kind of therapy I guess. It's almost like giving up on something we knew could never happen anyway.I dont know why it is hitting me so hard today to let it go.


Oh well, I am happy for my MIL and i know she will care for the place and take great care of it.

Not a lot going on today.
I read all the Castaway Cay club perks, AWESOME for those of us who have several cruises. Although we were at Platmun level they did miss one of our cruises, but their phones will be way too busy to bother them with such a small thing. It wont change anything, so why bother.

I cant believe I wont have internet tomorrow when they announce the new ships itenaries!!! GRRR!!! I hate being the last to know!!

I will be leaving this afternoon but will check back around my lunch time to see who is around today.

So, the Disney Magic stays in the Atlantic/Med and the Disney Wonder stays on the Pacific side as was anticipated but it's good to see it officially.

I just found this. I thought our cruise would be announced too.


The Disney Dream will be unveiled live in NYC on October 29. Beginning at 4:15 pm EST you can watch the streaming video of the unveil and be part of the action at disneycruise.com.

Well a couple of weeks ago I read somewhere that 9/12 at noon was the announcement for the Dream but we couldnt book until the end of October

Thats why I was bummed I wouldnt be able to check it out tomorrow because NO internet at moms.

Well i hope they will let us book by 11/7 if your right because we will be on the magic and want our discounts. i guess we could book regular then rebook on our 2010 to get the discounts but by then the price may have gone up too much and we would actually be loosing $$ if we rebooked.


Guess I wont know anything for awhile.
If they announce something tomorrow and somebody here catches it, please post it on sunday so I will know too. Thanks,
