Um ... who are those charactersAnd... I just found this one. It's at Disney MGM after the cruise, but it's just so cute. Alex didn't want to stop hugging JoJo. He keep going back in for more hugs. We finally had to pull him away because other kids were waiting.

Christine: Did you notice what's missing from Kim's photo? Yep. Poofy sleeves.![]()
And thanks for posting the Maui pic. I always wanted to go there, and now I know exactly what it looks like ... inebriated ...![]()

That's JoJo & Goliath from the Disney Channel. Their show used to be on every morning and Alex would watch it.
It's okay. If I didn't have a kid his age I would have no clue either. I can proudly say I have NEVER watched "High School Musical."
I have a feeling we will all be watching them when we get on the cruise because they play them on the Dumbtron.
I thought they were Rolli Polli OlieCan you tell I don't have any kids either

I have attemped to watch both High School Musicals and I have to say they are unwatchable. I guess I am just getting old but they are really bad. I have a feeling we will all be watching them when we get on the cruise because they play them on the Dumbtron.
Christine - Gotta disagree re HSM movies and give you a parent's perspective on their popularity and why so many of us actually like them. With all the bad influences that kids have to look to, I am thrilled that Disney put these movies out. No cussing, no sex (except for one innocent kiss in HSM1 and one bigger kiss in HSM2), no drug or alcohol use, no inherent nastiness that is so much part of today's world. Even the villain (Sharpay) is likable. Good messages about accepting others' differences and not always following the crowd or clique. When I think about it, I say "What's not to like?" As a dad of 2 girls, I say bring on HSM 3 and 4!

I guess I never looked at it that way. I will say that we watched the Teen Choice awards the other day and my DH and I were both shocked at what they were showing than I realized it wasn't a Disney show so I guess they really don't care what they are showing kids.

High School Musical
Jeff,
I am with you on this one. when my kids were growing up they always loved going to the movies with us and then with their friends, but trying to find a movie that we would let them see was very hard.
Even if I dont care for a particular movie, if it is clean and good for kids i am all for it!! There was about a 10 year period where it was almost impossible to find a clean show for the kids.
Now we have many every year , some are animated, some real people. I am so glad because now I love to take my grandkids to the movies when I see them, and now I can usually find a couple that are ok to go to with them.
Plus I love most of the animated shows the past few years. I have bought most of them.
