Oh No not Siad again.

@ Hunters school we went to each teacher and the counselor. They were all like OMG you have to go. You can make up the work when you get back. His home room teacher said he would keep us up to date with daily e-mails. Obviously he doesn't know that we only check the email the first day and then only if we have NOTHING else to do. But I appreciate the thought. At least I can catch up after we get back.

Here is my dreamboat......

TTYL.

Tonya-I must say; he is a bit dreamy......

Shell-What can I say? That's just sad.......

Tonya-I may have to creat a desk shrine to your husband........will that be uncomfortable for you:lmao:

Okay Shell-since you put freak boy out there.........Here's my crush no one gets:confused3

I think it's the voice..........

Jeff Goldblum??? JEFF GOLDBLUM??? That is soooooooo messed up!

That is soooooooo messed up
Not the last time you'll use this phrase when speaking about me........:lmao:

Hey!! We need to talk about snack on the ship. I don't mean :mickeybar
I'm talking Cheetoh's, Funnyuns, peanut m&m's, etc. Do they have those kinds of snacks available?

Wait, I forgot my mantra....sugar is poison to my body, sugar is poison.....

OK so bedsides tonya, cause who doesn't love Trey:love: , Kim and Shell, I love ya girls but ya'll bring sad to a whole new level.
What you need is a healthy relationship like Brad and I have:rotfl2:

I knew I'd get flamed.................but you might as well see my freak flags now, at least you'll be prepared.

So Wendy, what are doing tonight at 9 eastern, 8 central time? Mine is hoping that everyone leaves me the H**L alone so I can watch the show. That is the only one I have to see.

Kim, understand the voice thing with Jeff. He's a barry white in my book. Yo can have a shrine to III on your desk if you want. Just don't tell him his head it already big enough as it is.

This truly makes me crazy and is one of my pet peeves. If you as a parent think that your child can handle that amount of time away from school and you are willing to make up the work, then who the hell has the right to tell you otherwise or make you feel guilty? We are lucky that our school has been very good about this. We turn in the form, they sign it, we ask the teacher how she wants to handle homework, makeup assignments - tell her whatever is easiest for her...she gives us the work, we do it. Elizabeth comes home with all A's. End of story.

By the time she hits high school we may have a different opinion (and so may she) but until then we're vacationing when it works for us as a family. Tomorrow isn't promised to any of us. I lost my mom when she was 50 years old so I learned early on to live for today because tomorrow isn't guaranteed.

Ok. Off my soapbox now. Hope everyone is having a great day. I am!

My kids are both in high school-for the last two years we haven't had any problems from the teachers....but MAN do they every give out the homework-Joshua did his on Thanksgiving day and at the airport and then at the hotel that night-he wanted it all done before we got on the cruise--what a good boy I have :lmao:

Dawn-thanks for the pixie dust-mom and dad are slowly coming along-no new problems-just rehabing (is this a word  ) from the old problems.

Is anyone an UGLY BETTY fan???? I can't wait-it's on tonight :woohoo:

Have to say, DH and myself looooved Disney Quest-we are just big kids at heart...we will be at SSR in Feb for our 20th anniversary and I think we will spend a little quality time at Disney Quest:banana:

Kathy-hope you feel better.

Jeff Goldblum??? I have to admit though...my DD thinks he is 'HOT' but then again, she thinks ANY guy is hot.....she is after all 15 and hormone ridden :lmao:

The scary thing about that is that last year Elizabeth had so much homework that she spent the night before Thanksgiving, much of Thanksgiving morning and on the plane on the way to Orlando doing her homework assignments. And she was in 2nd grade. *Sigh* I can't wait to see what we have this year!

Yeah, they don't care if their children get left behind as long as they play hockey...............

:lmao: okay then I'm in trouble cause I don't even know how to skate!:confused3

Shell is right...it is different here...they do have to go to school...it is law...I believe until 16 or 17...if you home school you have rules you have to follow by your school board...our employers are also required to give us a year of work when we have a baby...

I didn't know the bacon was different :confused3...I'm sure I had it on our vacations...The biggest food difference I noticed is that your ice tea does not have sugar in it...and dh has trouble finding vingar...but he has trouble with that in other parts of Canada too.

Okie glad to hear your parents are doing a little better.

I have to agree Tonya and say BEAST!

I should go get supper ready! Have a great evening everyone.
