I think it's the voice..........

Kim... you're scaring me a little...

But then I have a thing for Johnny Depp...even as Captain Jack, which is a little scary I suppose too!

Otherwise... I gotta go with Shell cause we're big Lost fans!

Hey you know what... I was originally booked on the January 8, 2008 cruise, then switched to a 4 day for Nov. 24th and then to this 7 day.

Anywho... just went to the January 8 meet thread and they only have 95 posts!!:rotfl:

Good thing I found the nanas!

It's taken me forever to read all the posts! It is nice to have so many all chit chatting...

Okie so glad the roller coaster is starting to come back up out of the valley. Best wishes that it continues.

Kathy, How are you feeling? Better I hope because we sure aren't hearing much from you.

I would have a tough time if someone said I couldn't do something with my child! Until this year when the boys switched schools, I always had a close friendship with the principal. She always told me that the boys learned so much during our trips. I've even pulled the boys unexpectly before because we needed to bond as a family and get away from the stress...I believe that trip we hopped on a plane to CA. The boys always have ended up doing more homework than the class covered!

The Oswalt family...are you watching Survivor tonight? Suppose to have the toughest challenge of all times tonight!

Have a good evening!

:woohoo::woohoo: Me too. I look forward to meeting you in person!

Are any of you guys going to be in Cape Canaveral early on Friday? We have been thinking of leaving late Thursday after Thanksgiving dinner and driving on down. Trying to decide what to do. I am sure the parks will be jam packed the day after Thanksgiving, but we also talked about maybe resort hopping and shopping. Or we could take the kids to the Kennedy Space Center. Or just hang out.

Brantley ... we'll be there around 2 or 3 in the afternoon with Kathy & Greg. If you haven't been there, I highly recommend Kennedy Space Center ... I'd LOVE to go back! That place is awesome!

The biggest food difference I noticed is that your ice tea does not have sugar in it
That's because you've been drinking Yankee tea:lmao: Yankees don't have vinegar either, but if you want to come to Va Beach I'll make you some Southern tea that'll make your teeth rot on impact and fix you up some collard greens with gravy (vinegar)

Evening all,

Okie, so glad to hear your parents are hanging in there. rehab can be very stressful and take many months. Hope your holding up ok too, the stress will affect everyone. Dont want you getting sick too. I'm sure you will be ready for a relaxing cruise by the time it gets here.

Dawn, i am feeling a little better but colds always seem to be worse at night and first thing in the morning which is when I normally post.

It took me a long time to read todays posts, boy you guys are sure chatty today:thumbsup2

I am in the wrong generation for your HOT guys ladies, I think Sean Connery is a "HOT" old guy!! Your all scrathin your heads and saying who??? Oh that old guy who is loosing his hair and use to be a 007 spy :lmao: He has got better looking with age:love: Just like me:lmao:

I dont watch any of the same shows as you guys either, guess i am way out of the "IN" crowds or what ever they call them now.;)
I like NCIS, Monk, Psych, and I want to see a couple new shows which I missed their first episodes but will watch one of them tonight called Journeyman. I dont know if I will like it or not but we are going to check it out.

Cant comment about taking kids out of school because mine are all grown with kids of their own. But I have taken mine out a coupe of times and have NO regrets.

enjoy your evening all,
kathy

I think Sleeping Beauty had the best Prince.........He actually fought the dragon for her. Just like a Prince should. Aladdin was a street punk....the Beast was alright I guess (a little moody:lmao: ), Prince Charming.......puh-leez. This is the guy all little girls are supposed to hope for? He was too lazy to even go out and find Cinderella. He sent a servant:sad2:

Good evening to all,
I am sitting here sipping my homemade margarita and dreaming of KonTiki fries on St. Marteen beaches....
I really have to weigh in on the "getting out of school for a family trip" discussion. First of all, as a teacher, if I have the kids 180 days and can't miss 5 or the kid will suffer, I should be fired! I have had kids go to Disney or like today, I had a student leave for Williamsburg and Busch Gardens. Homework is usually tied to a ride- add the floors in Tower of Terror, divide by3, ect. What was your score on Buzz... you get the idea. I tell the parents I will meet with the student upon return to share whatever pearls of wisdom I feel they missed.
As for other teachers and principals... I tell them this- a little over 5 years ago I planned a disney cruise with my husband and two kids. We had a fabulous time and the kids were in paradise. Four months later my husband was diagnosed with terminal lung cancer and 10 days after that he died from a botched operation. What could your teacher POSSIBLY have said and done to replace that family time? Unfortunately it was true for me but feel free to adapt it, quote it, or whatever if a teacher or administrator ever gives you SH#T!
Enough of that... you can tell I have had a drink!:rolleyes1
Ok, enough rambling.... love ya all.....we will have a drink to the Disneyholic that was my fabulous husband when I see you for real!

:grouphug: That's for you Judy. Love ya to bits! :flower3:

WOOHOO!!! ONE HOUR OFFICE TONIGHT!!

Will Jim & Pam finally go out on their date?
