As we are within 1 month, any one hear which nights are formal or semi formal? Only info I can locate is from the navigators from 9/22/2012.

Someone posted the answer they got from shoreside concierge-
Sun 18 is Formal night
Weds 21 is Pirate Night
Thurs 22 is semi formal
All others are cruise casual

This might be a silly question but do all of the ports where we will be stopping take U.S. money?

I've been to Grand Cayman & Cozumel and had no problem spending US money at all.

I have not personally been to Costa Maya, but the websites I found while googling do state they accept US dollars as well.

no magic mail yet :(

does anyone know how we find out our dining rotation, which dining room for first day, second, etc.? travel agent? call disney cruise? thenks.

I can't believe it's less than 1 month away :yay:

I don't know anything about the dining rotation.

Did you book through a TA? I did, and my Disney mail was sent to her - and she had to forward it to me. So if you want through a TA you might check with them to see if they have received & forwarded your packet to you yet.

You will find out your dining rotation when you check in at the port. It will be printed on your DCL Key to the World card. :)

Now it's only 3 of each! 20 days, my friends!

For those of you participating in the FE exchange... Would you like to schedule our deliveries, or do it on our own time frame? I've read that some other groups schedule days to make sure there are sussies (my BFFs nickname for surprises) in the FE each day. Other groups make it random. What are your thoughts?

Excitement brewing this week!

Random!!!

Random deliveries works for me!

Another question - since we will be on the ship the day after Thanksgiving, do you think there will be any Christmas decorations out on Friday? I would love to get Christmas pics while on board!

And another - are we planning a meet? If it was posted earlier, I've missed it.

Thanks!

I vote for random. I have a couple of items and was planning to spread them out over the week. °o°

Random is my vote. :cheer2:

Other than working on FEs I have not done anything so far to get ready for this cruise. Work has kepted me very busy. :surfweb: I need to find some time to start packing. I hate packing at the last minute......I always forget something(s).

I also want to put Christmas up before we leave. :santa:

I guess I need to get off my tablet and go do something right now.;)

Random works for me too. I think it'll be fun for my DDs and I to play Santa. :) I'm glad our group is the size it is. . .big enough to be fun, but not so big that it will take all week to hit all the FE's.

I don't know firsthand as this is our first DCL cruise; however, from what I've read in trip reports, etc. - the Christmas decorations should already be up when we board. Most threads on this top indicate they start putting them up the cruise before Thanksgiving week, so everything is decorated for the Thanksgiving cruise.

I've heard this as well and that the holiday activities (gingerbread houses, tree lighting, characters in holiday wear) may even go on this week as well
