Sorry . . OT post
. Anyway, my daughter really took them and it was a cute idea.
All of your projects sound so great! They're all very different from each other too! Great ideas! My DS--1st grade--has to take 100 items (same thing) AND dress as if he's 100 years old! Any suggestions as to how to dress him as if he's 100 years old?![]()
Black socks with sandles, and waist band of pants pulled up to his armpits?
Thanks!DS is in 1st grade and has to bring the 100 items in again like in K - I wanted something different this year, too. I saw in Parents magazine this week that they had done a huge cookie - they used sugar cookie refrigerated dough - rolled it out into a big cookie and then they put 100 chocolate chunks into the cookie and baked it - they decorated it by writing on it "100th Day of School" - ds really liked it, but I didn't know if it would fly for the project because it's something they display in the hallway, but his teacher loved the idea and said they'd take a picture of his and then the class could eat it! ).We did this one by using stuff in the pantry. We glued 100 mini marshmellows to a poster board one year! I was surprised when I picked up the poster from school a few weeks later and most of the marshmellows had been "eaten" off!!!![]()

Just wondering...
was the original idea to dress as if you are 100 years old or rather to dress as if you were living 100 years ago? as in, old style of clothing
