Are you betting on horseflesh, AFEG? And on a Sunday? :scared1:

Why don't you save that money for the cruise next fall? I'd like to try that Cristal you were talking about ... ;)

you know I'm teasing you ... I don't expect you to keep me swimming in booze, I just expect you to prevent me from falling over the back-end of the ship.

Anymore "tips" Bendy keep them to your self pleaseeeeee $100 gone west.....:rolleyes1

O.K., this would work better if you post after me. The order won't make sense to everyone else.

Hi guys. Sorry I haven't been around but I didn't have access to the boards in a hospital room! I had a really bad headache on Tuesday, then that afternoon my neck started hurting and when I got home I started with a fever. We went to the ER and I had a spinal tap and they found I had meningitis. It is viral so that is a good thing. I got home a couple of hours ago but am still sore. No work for me tomorrow. Can't go til Monday. So I'm sure I'll have time to catch up.

Lori, so sorry to hear that:sick:
Hope you are feeling better soon, that's scary stuff!

Hugs and get well wishes:hug:

O.K., here is a picture from our weekend:

(Nancy and I DISing from the room - on separate computers :rotfl2: )

Well Nancy, looks like we killed the thread. Must still smell like chlorine.

There is no grass at the front. We all have our own fenced private back gardens (or yards as you call them over there:goodvibes ) Its only small. All gardens are small in England compared to the USA. Heres a photo of the before and after of our back garden. We moved in end of June last year and it took ages to sort it out.

These before photos are taken after about 6 trees ahd already been taken out. It was like a jungle!

We now have evergreen passion flowers covering the whole back fence and all the plants have established and grown well - must be all the rain we've had this summer!

Heres two photos from this morning. Look at the grass plant by the fence on the left - see how much its grown! It was about 18 nches tall when we planted it - it now touches the purpley tree branches - about 50inches!

Be careful! - Neils arms went all blistered and itchy for weeks after just pulling a bit of it up. They swelled up too.:sad2: It doesnt affect me though. Guess who now has to cut it all when it grows back:rolleyes: You can see it all growing over the shed and through the old trees on photo three. We had tons of it when we moved in.

You've done a beautiful job with the garden!
Good morning everybody

All our clocks are wrong this morning . Our time went back an hour last night so its now only 7.45am:rolleyes: Been up hours...its going to be a loooong day:sad2:

We're doing a car boot sale this afternoon to try to clear the rest of the toys we want to sell. He's made about $180 so far. Hopefully today will bring another $100+. Its a miserable windy morning - thank goodness its inside and not in some field or car park as usual!!

Has anybody noticed whether they do kids "tattoo" pens in USA? Ellis wants one for christmas and I thoguht it could be something we could get over there instead of having to pack it and take it with us. Its like a ibrating felt tip pen and stencils. Its called TAT2 over here. I know theres a fe toy stores in Florida so I was hoping to pick it up from over there.:confused3

Have a nice day everybody:goodvibes

How does one have a boot sale inside? IS it like a big building where you can pull the cars in or do you remove things from the boot to take inside somewhere?
I will see what I can find out about a TAT2 pen.

Oh I will. I will call first thing in the morning. I imagine it will get a little worse before it gets better.

Chris - have you tried the home remedies - salt, bleach?? Have you tried oatmeal baths? How about the old tired and true Calamine lotions nad at lesat some Benadryl to give you some relief?

Wow You guys have sure made your "garden" look great. It is so green. Our grass in Texas is so brown since it hadn't rained that much last summer. Di

Since it is so close to my eyes and nose, I am hesitant to put any lotions and stuff near the rashes.

I actually have some on my one eyelid. Eyes aren't closed, but there is itiching.

Lovin' the pics Jeff!!! :thumbsup2 More to share??? :rolleyes1
