Actually, I have to get up a bit early and leave in the morning for a certification class. Matthew will have to feed the girls (orange danish rolls are planned). So... I am putting at least a "quiet time" if not a "sleep time"!

I have 8 girls in my family room who are finally settled watching "Halloweentown". Megan is having a costume party/sleepover for her birthday party. I will be having a much less chaotic party for Sarah on Wednesday. These 5th graders definitely have energy! (this is my house the last 4 hours!)

I did a marathon cleaning day to get ready. Then I had to keep the chaos controlled. They are all great girls, but get them all together...

I miss those days of a house full of kids. Enjoy it goes by way too fast,

DS # 1 is in New Orleans this week end. He and his buddies went to the Voodo Music fest. But he still called Mom when he got there and will call me tomorrow when they leave.

We are back. We didn't make it to Margaritaville due to nearly a two hour wait, but we went to a place called Big Bubba's Barbecue. It was very good. I got BBQ Chicken and Pulled Pork Combo. It was yummy! After dinner we hit Ben & Jerry's. On the way out, the actor Edward Burns was greeting people, and I was able to take a picture with Elaine and our neighbor Shannon. I will post a pic shortly.

Well, you never know... there is room for him in my cabin if he changes his mind. But next year, we will actually be at sea for Sat. & Sun. Then again, wouldn't be the 1st Mass he said on a ship.

Ben and Jerry's is one of the vendors in the retail area between the 3 casinos, hotel, and arena.
