Yeah, the tree. I am sooooo excited. Which stores are the best. We are being dropped off in front of Macy's. I need to get a map so I can see what is where.

Macy's is about 14 blocks south of Rockerfeller Center. I believe the Rock starts at 48th street and 6th and Macy's is on 34th. If it isn't raining, it isn't a bad walk.

The "tree" is at Rockerfeller Center in front of the GE Building or 30 Rock.

Andy are you lurking out there?? It seems the thread is about to close and I have to go do my service this morning. Can you or anyone else start a new one? I have maybe 15 minutes or so left if no one else is around to do it, but after that, I am gone for 90 minutes or so.

Which Macy's? Look for the one with the orginial wood escaletor. That is so cool. I think it's the one on 34th st. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong. I havent been to NYC since 4 of July 2002.

My husband just said we could go early if I didn't have to teach - I told him I'd quit! I could quit tomorrow if it means more trips to Disney. Heck, I could quit today - I have home phone numbers. He said I misunderstood him - we could go early except I have to teach - so we can afford to go at all!

The Radio City Christmas Spectacular is quite good. Ice skating at the Rock, 5th avenue shopping and looking at the window displays. If you are feelign spontaneous and want to see a show try the TIX booth in Times Square for same day reduced show. There are a lot of great shows currently running, and a few of them are Disney shows.

One day seems pretty short, but the Christmas Spectacular and/or shopping would be a good single day treat.

I agree one day is short, but it is better than nothing. I'll look up tickets now for RCCS. I know the girls will want to go to American Girl.
