Hi Everyone! Just stopping by to say hi...

Whenever I feel a little overwhelmed, I just close my eyes an imagine myself sitting on the beach at Castaway Cay...such a stress reliever. Less than 1 year and counting!!

I wish I was getting on the Magical Express right now, but I love the anticipation before the big day - so I can wait, I guess.

Did I say the baby was going to be born in late December? Well, make that late November to early December.....yesterday I got put on bed rest my by OB! You remember I'm an overplanner, right? Well, I guess little Isabelle is going to try to change that in me.

I'm getting induced sometime soon.....sonogram Monday to see if she is big enough yet, and then after that it's anybody's guess. So I might have some news earlier than expected!

Good luck, Erica!! Maybe little Isabelle is just an overachiever and wants to come early to prove she's ready already. Bed rest can't be fun...unless you really need the break - is your husband good at giving pedicures?

Our baby boy Asher turned 6 months this past Sunday - I'm really loving having a baby again, and having a 5 year old (our daughter Lily) has definitely put how short the baby period really is into perspective.

Maybe Isabell just wanted to give you time to rest before she arrives to turn the household upside down. And while you rest you can plan at least some with a computer and phone.

Hello everyone,

Yesterday I went to my T/A to make a payment (boy do I have a long way to go till it's paid off)and I found out if you go to Disney Cruise Lines web sight you can get a visual tour of the Disney Dream.

The new ship looks awesome They have a giant water slide, still no rock climbing or minature golf like on other cruise lines.

The big downer is that it only for 3 & 4 day cruises
I would think DCL would want to use the bigger ship for the longer cruises.

So, I probably will never go on the new ship unless I do a back to back.

Well I wanted to update that I switched us to May 29th 2011 on Dream ship. Sorry we wont be sailing with this group. Please have fun. I had fun getting to know you all.

Brenda, I hate that you won't be sailing with us. But, I am glad that you are going to be able to go on the Dream. Hope to have the chance to meet you on another cruise.

The new ship looks AWESOME!!! My DD's had eyes as big as saucers when we all watched this. They all thought the water feature is WAY COOL!!

FYI...it's my understanding (plz correct me if you've heard differently) that the first of the new ships will take the 3 & 4 day sailings. However, when the second arrives - Disney Fantasy - sometime in 2011...it will take over the 7 day cruises. So...it'll be a little extra wait.

We are interested in a sailing sometime in 2011...am undecided if we'll go Alaska...or....Caribbean.

Cool, I can wait untill the Fantacy is built. I still would like to see some minature golf (I'm not a real golfer) and rock climbing. I can see not having water surfing that you could get hurt but rock climbing and minature golf is mostly safe.

I hope everyone is having a GREAT thanksgiving!! We enjoyed seeing sailor Mickey on the Macy's day parade this morning. I was in Macy's the other day and saw the sailor plush Mickey with an alarm clock. Of course I had to get one. It is cute, it talks too. My little cousins were also in the Mayc's parade today. They are in the USA Jump Rope team. It is AMAZING what those kids can do with a piece of rope!

I was reading about the photo cd available thru Shutters (the photo place on board). Is it true the cost is $400?!! I am glad there is a shutterbug group!! Is there an early morning coffee/tea group? I'm in! Tell me DCL has real coffee and not that Nescafe stuff.

I've heard the same --- $400 for a photo cd. That is a lot of $$$ - IMHO. Have heard that this is still new...so...maybe they are just seeing what the market will bear. Hope they will make this price more reasonable.

I will admit...any of the sit-down breakfast areas...is an OK cup of coffee. Unless it's changed since 2007...you can't even get a regular cup of drip at their coffee shop - cove cafe. I sure wish they would change this - hopefully...someone that's went more receiently than us...will pass some good news. So...I'll either keep my whining to a minimum and have a mocha...or...bring a small french press. K

Isabelle watch 2009 - so far so good. Bed rest is boring (but very productive for my side writing career, oddly) but baby Isabelle is doing very well. As long as everything goes smoothly, looks like I will be induced in 2 weeks, which would be the 38 week mark. Hope to have some pictures to share soon of the (soon-to-be) new arrival!
