Well, with all of the comings and goings, we are now at 209 Serenity seekers!!! I'll have to start a chart, so that it will be ready when folks decide about fish extenders, meets and such. But we will save that for the new year.

Hope you have a great time, Sandy. You have to let me know how the GF is. I am hoping that we will be able to stay there next year, either before or after our Serenity Cruise.

No, not staying at Grand Flo, I wish! We will be staying at Saratoga Springs and Bay Lake Towers this visit. We will be going to 1900 Park Fare to celebrate DH's bday with my in laws. Cindy is MIL's favorite. Keeping her happy is a good thing! I can't wait to see their Christmas decorations and the gingerbread house.

Kevin - CONGRATS on your new potty trained family member! :yay: I wish they all came that way. We are still training...still...:crazy2: Hannah Jo is beautiful. Labs are great and very loyal. Shutterfly is a great idea. We're in.

Welcome all new cruise mates! I hope everyone is avoiding the Christmas crazies and are able to enjoy the holiday. What traditions do you have? Any must have recipes?

Got our airfare today, Jet Blue via Washington DC. Got our ressie at Saratoga Springs. Now I just have to pay for everything.:confused3

Isabelle watch 2009 - still no baby. Plan is to get induced Wednesday. 4 more days!

Brenda - I finally figured out our Alaska cruise date: 8/23/11. Is that when you are going? We originally had a different date booked, but the difference between the two was almost $1500!

I'll be checking in again soon. Time is going to fly by between now and October.

Hi, Erica. I am sure that you are anxious about the baby!!! Just too exciting.

As far as when we are going to Alasaka, we are going the week after you:sad2: . Boo hoo!!! Oh well. We will make the best of our Serenity cruise.

Ok, back to Baby Erica watch!

Merry Christmas everyone! Here's to some pixie dust to Santa to drop off a couple million dollars in Disney Dollars for us all!:rotfl:

Wishing all a blessed holiday...and a very happy New Year!!

I can't believe it...in just a few more days...it'll be 2010. AND...it won't be long till we meet and sail to the Caribbean...

Had to share my favorite Disney gift I received. I saw this in a store in MK and wanted to buy it but they told me it wasn't for sale but maybe online. DH found it and I love it. It is bigger and more beautiful than I remember. Jim Shore has such attention to detail.

My favorite gift I gave was a daddy daughter trip for my husband and step daughter. They both seem really excited, I hope they have a blast over spring break.

Hi Everyone! Well, I finally decided to join in on this cruise thread and get involved with the fun activities! This is our 3rd Disney cruise and we are excitedly counting down the days. I haven't read through the whole thread so please forgive me for not knowing but, is there a fish extender gift exchange? What about some sort of trick or treating - even though we are a few days before Halloween? We haven't taken part on our last two cruises and I think my husband actually wants to do it! Whoo Hoo! We're also thinking of decorating our door and my in laws, as we are bringing them along as well.

We have a group of 12 of us going - two different families and each of us are bringing grandparents.

I can't wait to get to know you all! Only 300 more days!!! :yay::yay::yay:

Haven't posted in a while so I thought I'd get caught up...welcome to all the new folks and I'm looking forward to seeing pictures of baby Isabelle!

We just booked a trip to Southern CA for the first week of June - we're renting a house with our in-laws about 2 miles from Disneyland - it has a pool, so Lily is extra excited (as am I). I asked her if she thinks she will want to go to DL or just hang out at the house - right now she says she just wants to swim in the pool, but I'm thinking her tune will change the closer we get. :)

I hope everyone had a Merry Christmas - this holiday season sure went by extra-quick!!!!!

OK, we were thinking about asking taking our niece along with us on this cruise. Since we are already 5 people in a Cat 3 room we would need to have a larger room or 2 separate rooms.

I tried the DCL website and nothing came up. I called DCL and the rep told me the ship is almost full and there are only two rooms open an any category on the ship. Both are Cat 3 suites so no visibility on the website.

This seems very early for the ship to be full since it is not a holiday week and this is usually not that busy of a time of year. is there something special going on this week this year? We've cruised the last week of October for the last four years and it has never been particularly busy.

I'm sure that some rooms will open up once we get closer to paid in full date, but it still seems unusual for it to be full this early.

Well they are not correctly informed if you believe the web site. I just checked the web site and could book two cat 7 rooms but could not get a room assignment. So if you have children old enough to have a room that is not connecting or close by you can get a cat 7, 6,5, 0r4. If you are wanting a connecting room those are often gone within days of the booking opening.

I was surprised that there was no availability on the web sit for inside room or oceanview rooms. You are correct that come June and July rooms could and most likely will open up. But if you can have room that are not close together and even maybe on different decks you can book at least two cat 7 now. Lois
