10/22/11 Parley!! Will this get me on the ship any faster?

we're headed to Toys r Us at 10 tonite...then Target at 4 am.

lots of people watching.

we went to Michaels tonight. Driving home there was people lined up outside of Best Buy already. Must be a great sale because it's supposed to freeze tonight.

we bailed on toys r us. the outside line was wrapped around about a half mile. and it was raining.

were made it to Target at 4 am and it was sooo funny. Peoplewatching never disapoints. We waited an hr for a $3 toaster. Robin needed one for work. It was hilarious watching people trying to cut in line.

Well, we had a lot of discussion, my Brother, his wife, Laura and I. And weighed out all of our options. Honestly, it was a tough decision for Laura and I because we really didn't know which way to go. Rick really liked the idea of going to CC twice and being on the new ship, so ultimately we made the choice to do the back to back.

It was really rough because we really wanted to see our old friends again.

I do plan on going to MNSSHP on Friday the 21st. We'd love to meet up with you guys if that fits into your plans at all.

For now I have to remain a F.O.P. We'll miss you all.

Thanks Misty, we had a great Thanksgiving and were up at the "butt crack of stupid" shopping already. I had most of my shopping done and only had to get something for our son in law but since Black Friday is a tradition for us we went anyway. I love crowds but waited in no lines for anything. After the mall we hit up Babies R Us and went a little crazy with the sales they offered.

The place where I work is just a couple blocks from a major mall here so from the office window I was able to watch all the other crazies shop all day.

Thanks. I know that we'll have a great time. We figure that the ship will be our destination (of course two CC days won't hurt, I just love that place) As far as Nassau goes, we may do a walking tour of it and then get right back on the ship and avoid it altogether then next day. I'd like to do that Atlantis waterpark but the price for the four of us will be about $540!!!!! It's hard to make that kind of monetary commitment to it.

I would like that. I'm really looking forward to Aulani in 2012. My friends from work are delaying their cruise until 2012 to do the Fantasy, but I'm not sure that I'll be able to afford two big ticket trips in one year. Let me know when you start planning that Aulani trip. My Birthday is in August, but the kids start school then, so I've resigned myself to the fact that I won't actually be spending my birthday in Aulani. I've got a few best times to go. In February the kids are out of school for a week. And I could do it in July which will be closer to my Birthday (also it'll be Leah's birthday and close to Stuarts.) Or we could do it in Oct which takes them out of school but it's a pretty opportune time to do it. I understand that the peak months are the winter months and better deals can be gotten in the summer and fall. So I'll be watching pretty carefully next year at what the rates do.

the kids loved it! We got the back row where theres a little room to walk around. So when Brady (the 2 yr old) got antsy he could stroll around a little. It was hilarious watching him walk around with his Buzz Lightyear shoes on that light up when he walks.
