10/21 on iTunes?

I did a quick search and didn't see anything about this. I'm a week behind in downloading the podcast, but the 10/21 show isn't showing up. Did it get taken down? I even looked on iTunes itself instead of in my subscribed area.

My subscription downloaded that one ok, but it wasn't downloading the most recent one on the 28th, I think. I downloaded it manually twice on my itouch and it didn't show up. Somehow I found it on itunes on my pc and got it that way. Wonder if these two issues are related?

I noticed it wasn't there yesterday when I was updating my podcasts. I have seen this happen before with other podcasts, The episodes are downloaded on my computer, but not on itunes. Eventually they return.

I tunes can be very spooky.

Last week another disney podcast started downloading episodes from last October.

Maybe the itunes ghost is having some fun.

It's not showing up on either iTunes or my library. I can't figure out what's wrong. Even when I follow the iTunes link from the Podcast site...still no show.

The Gremlins in the system need to find another podcast to haunt.

I find the whole itunes and library thing very confusing. It is hard to search and hard to find things you are looking for. It took me 20 minutes to find the new show. It was there on the Dis but I couldn't get my subscritption to download it. It said it already checked for new new shows. Now that I think about it, I don't think the 10/21 was on the itunes list when I was trying to get the one after. I was thinking it was because it was already on my ipod and that was why it wasn't showing up. I also don't know how to delete podcasts I've already heard but I'm fairly new to ipods.

In Itunes you can set the amount of shows to keep on your itouch. I have mine set to 5 shows. If you want to delete a show after listening to it just swipe your finger from right to left over the listing. This will bring up a delete option. This also works in email etc..

Odd, my iTunes is showing 2 10/21/09 shows, but with different descriptions, but both the same length. One of the descriptions says "10/21/09 - Discussion", the other reads "10/14/09 - Discussion". Is anybody else seeing this?

It looks like it's messed up in the iTunes store also. It shows:
10/28/09 - Discussion - 1:38:50 Release Date 10/29/09 Desc 10/14/09 - Discussion
10/21/09 - Discussion - 1:38:50 Release Date 10/21/09 Desc 10/21/09 - Discussion

Try unsubscribing then re-subscribe. That works sometimes.

I think there was a mistake when the discussion show was added to the podcast feed that convinced iTunes that it was an older episode instead of a new one. If you reloaded the feed (option click on Mac, shift click on Windows the disclosure triangle) then the discussion show appeared. When the email show was added it was put before the discussion show which seems to have nudged iTunes to make the discussion show to reappear. It's hard to tell exactly without having the feed file from before the discussion show, after the discussion show and after the email show to compare them.
