I have debated getting a Nook, but I worry I won't use it enough to get my money's worth out of it. I'm still really old-fashioned and love going to the library and checking out books.
Both Nooks and now Kindles have agreements with libraries where you can check out books, you should look into it if you're really wanting a e-reader. There are also a ton of classics out that are out of copyright that have been made available as e-books for free. Think Edgar Rice Burroughs, Jane Austen, etc.
I was a little bummed about missing Disney days, as well, but the closer the cruise gets, the more excited I am about trying something new. I have a feeling that once we're on the ship and all the activities are underway, our WDW woes will wash away.![]()
You guys are going to have such a great time!
