Amy - how often do you go to WDW - when we were there they were releasing a new series of pins - Walt's Legacy. I actually like them and got the first two but am now wondering about how to get the rest as they are released. I don't know when they are set to release the next one although I think it's monthly.

Fiona

Fiona - We probably go about once a month. And, we've been known to go just for pin releases. We're not pin traders, but we love to get new and interesting pins. Let me know if you want something, and I'll sure try to get it for you.

Goofynut, you can also try Disney Merchandise at 407-363-6200. They might even have more things that you didn't think of! Good luck with the wedding!

Eric: Sick again? You must have caught a virus from one of your gazillion computers! Yuk,yuk!

Mary: Good luck with the selling of your house. I'm hoping I can say the torch has been passed but I won't know for sure for a few more days. 30 showings is VERY impressive......mine has been on the market exactly 6 months today and we've only had about 18!

That's highly improbable, my Dear :rotfl: I have so may firewalls and virus protection programs that my puters are better guarded than I am ;)
My doc said that there's a kind of epidemic going on. His waiting room was full of people sniffing, sneezing, and coughing. Fortunately I only had to wait 15 minutes. Right now I still stick to conventional remedies, no antibiotics so far.
Fortunately Anja has a day off today and can take care of me. In our region we've got total chaos on the streets today: The visit of your President and heavy snow are impeding traffic heavily. AirForceOne has landed about 30 minutes ago and Bush is now enroute to Mainz. The First Lady arrived yesterday, paying visits to units of your armed forces.

Thanks Amy. I will let you know. Wish I lived a lot closer that's for sure!

Another cold day here although it's nice and sunny out. I just keep telling myself that in about 6 weeks or so the snow should be gone. :cool1:

Bought a ticket for the lotto tonight which is at $24 million. Can't imagine winning but boy wouldn't that be nice. No taxes on lottery winnings here either. :cheer2:

Back to work. Tomorrow have to be at a meeting at 9am further out from the city and then be downtown for noon for a seminar. Should be a fun day. Seminar is "Cases that scare me". I'm just hoping it's not "Cases that bore me".

Fiona

Laura....lucky YOU! Have a great time! Man all that pool time

when is this ?

Peter & Jenn

Laura -- How cool! Girls only trips are so much fun -- it's neat that you have so many sisters and are going cruising on the Wonder this fall. I know what you mean about not having to wait until 06 to cruise DCL. Sam and I and our 2 kids and DGS are doing a Wonder cruise in June (followed by BWV). It really does help to do a little Disney cruising this year. Doesn't make the wait until the next Cruisetoberfest so long. I have a girls only trip (only 2 girls, tho), at WDW planned for next October and I'm really looking forward to that, too.

Katie being the sweet little child that she is , has decided to share her cold with her grandfather (ME). I am talking sudafed multi-cold by the handful. I have a sore throat and guess I had better give the doctor a call in the morning. Went yesterday for my yearly eye exam and after it I am a little bit closer to the poor house. New frames(titanium), lens(bifocal) and co pay wound up being a little over $340.

Although the daffodils are blooming and so are the trees here   Expecting some more rain here again soon. Mike

WOW! Sounds like this virus epidemic has reached global proportions! It seems like everyone in Illinois is sick--and it's wiping people out! Now I hear Papa's got it in TN & Eric in Germany!

David & I both have it. Started out coughing & sore throat. Now I'm stuffy. David's stuffy but still coughing. I've spent what seems like my life savings on Sudafed Cold & Cough liqui-caps. I can handle myself being sick, but it breaks my heart to see David. :guilty: He gets so pale, yet flushed. Very lethargic. I hope he gets some sleep tonite.

Well, just checking in. Hope everyone else who's suffering feel better really soon.

Love, Marianne

Help...we found a ferret! He/she is cute but I have no idea how to care for it.

I would sauté it in a little bit of butter with onion, and maybe some garlic. :rotfl:

And the fur can be used as a posh cellphone-cover :teeth:

Ave just care for it like a hamster or gerbil. Feed it ferret food or kitten chow. Water and a litter pan. Call the humane society or animal shelter. Mike

LOL! I love the ferret info! :rotfl2:

Yeah! Booked my Wonder cruise last night for my "sisters trip". We're going Sept. 18th for 4 nts. We're in 7502...anyone stayed in there??? (Cat. 8). Jenn, I'm excited about the pool time and I don't have to leave to check on the kids, yippee! :cool1:

Now I need advice. We're on a tight budget and wondering what is the best way to handle transfers. We've always driven to either the port or Radisson. This time I'm flying into Orlando and meeting up with my sisters there. I was thinking of flying in Sat. and renting a car for the week(til thurs) and all of us driving to the Radisson on Sat. night, park there, and taking the Radisson shuttle in the morning to port. Does that sound economical or should I try something else? My sisters are coming in on a seperate flight from PA on Sat. night. (haven't booked that yet either-waiting for lower fares).

Well, for all of you suffering with the colds, I hope you're feeling better soon. I know its rough. It's been a crazy winter. My family in PA is getting another 8 inches of snow today. We had 71 degree weather 2 days ago, and now its 41 with a cold rain.
Best Wishes!
Laura

Starting next week I have 2 weeks of call in jury duty. I have to go since I got out of doing grand jury duty in Brooklyn a few months ago. I wrote in that I wouldnt travel by car or public transportation to the city- I was scared to go to Brooklyn by myself.... :scared1:

Laura:
I'm so jealous - although I would rather do the Magic over the Wonder anyday but this is a great getaway - especially with your sisters.

Usually we fly in the day before the cruise and rent a car in Orlando, drop it off at Avis the morning of the cruise and then get a lift from Avis to the port. Then the day we get off the boat we just reverse the process. It so far seems to have worked out okay and is cheaper than using the DCL transportation and more relaxing....

Perhaps it may even like minced Casey :teeth: I'm sure Mary would like to do the mincing :rotfl2:

Laura,
thanks for the good wishes. I'm already feeling better. Nevertheless I won't go to the gym before Sunday. We still have snow here at temps of -2°C/28°F.

Right now Anja and I are watching 'The Sure Thing' starring John Cusack and Daphne Zuniga. Tim Robbins and Anthony Edwards (Doc Green of ER) are in it in smaller roles. An 80ies-classic. I got it on DVD for €7.99, a bit more than $10.00)
