"only" about $3200 more for 4 more days for our usual
These kind of numbers put us on guard about the whole thing. Our cost would basically double to stay in the same cat for an additional four days... granted we only have a cat 9, but it adds another $2000USD to the bottom line, not to mention an additional 20% to convert the US dollar to the Canadian dollar.
While the $$$ was a consideration, we also wanted to go to The World after the cruise, and September is not a really flexible month for either one of us because of other personal and business committments.
We also wanted to:
1) watch and see if Denise was going to turn green on the first night out;
2) see if Don could do the surf and turf again, not to mention to see if he had any additional Disney tatoos;
3) see Bette para-sail, right after lunch, and try to determine whether or not she still had said lunch after para-sailing.
4) really get a close up look at Anja's tummy tatoo (this time I'm gonna be a bit less discrete about it);
5) Marianne's and Andy's karaoke (minus that drunk lady).
6) sit on deck four with a couple of bags of Oreos watching The Germs exercise, while we give Michelle detailed instructions on how to accomplish the Canadian Sloth Move.
7) actually see if other Cruisetoberfesters use the adult swimming pool.
8) eat lunch again with Rosemary and Rich on
Castaway Cay.
9) perform a tie-ectomy on anyone who gives me a tie.
10) sell any leftover lanyards, with proceeds going to the deposit for Cruisetoberfest V.
11) go to as many movies as possible that at least one of us will cry through and have Kim hand her kleenex.
Not a Class "A" list of things to do, but what are friends for?
Jim.
