1 Ride You Would Bring Back/Create

Alien Encounter is the one attraction that needs to be brought back. That was an awesome attraction buried by the "It doesn't belong in Disney" crowd. The Stitch version is okay but isn't even close Alien Encounter. I never understood why people didn't think more adult oriented rides weren't acceptable at Disney World. There are plenty of things I choose to skip at Disney why people couldn't have been content to just skip it instead of complaining is beyond me. Anyways that isn't here or there but I would bring this back first and foremost followed by Mr. Toad's Wild Ride. I wouldn't mind seeing horizons return. That was a long ride though. Seemed like it took 45 minutes to get through the whole thing.

I would love to see an Australian section in Animal Kingdom. More so see koala bears and kangaroos.

I would bring back an "re-imagined" Journey Into Imagination. It would be very similar to the original attraction with Dreamfinder and Figment but it would use the trackless ride system that is used in Mystic Manor in Hong Kong Disneyland and Winnie the Pooh in Tokyo Disneyland. I would also bring back the original ImageWorks (including the upstairs part!), reopen the meet and greet area with Figment, and open a new attraction in the 3-D theatre.

Pick one! Ouch. OP...great post!

I can't pick one but I will be general...I think Figment will be one of the most popular requests. Personally I would like to see Tomorrow Land and Future World get some face lifts. I'm not saying everything needs to go or anything like that but those two areas could really use some new rides/attractions.

I would build a monster inc rollercoaster in HS to add to the monster inc theme already running through the park.

I would say a Star Wars rollercoaster would make sense but not if they have any plans for a Star Wars land someday like they most likely do with the new movies around the corner.

Epcot needs another main attraction as well like an Olympic history dark ride going back in time and then through the ages possibly with a old style goofy sports corner feel where he makes a fool out of himself trying to do the events. Possibly make it where you shoot thing through the story like TSMM and it likely will be a hit.

I agree. My husband loves to joke about these areas and the "future" which pretty much isn't the future anymore (ie in COP the video game of the future that interferes with the turkey cooking- we have surpassed much of this vision!). It was so exciting as a kid to see especially the Epcot attractions and think "wow, maybe some day we can talk and see each other long distance....." Etc etc.
Well- tell me what's coming next, Disney!!

Frozen themed rides. Dark ride, roller coaster...they could make it snow on you !! Frozen themed treats, blue soft serve, rock candy on top of blue iced cupcakes, blue and white swirled slushies. Polar/Arctic themed ride to go with it. Maybe have the polar/arctic ride be a roller coaster and the dark ride strictly frozen themed?

A Star Wars dark ride would be nice. A Star Wars roller coaster too. Silly to have only Star Tours with the Star Wars weekends and all. Should feel more immersed I think. Star Wars character meal too! In my opinion they should do an entire Star Wars area instead of Avatar Land. Star Wars has been going strong since the 70's! There are no characters to identify with in Avatar.

More princess rides! Dark ride featuring all of them. Maleficent coaster, dragons everywhere!

alien encounter and time keeper wasn't original to the mk. mission to mars was where alien was from 75 to 93.
time keeper was America the beautiful 360 movie. (I don't recall when that was changed or started. i was a kid at the time and there was no way i was standing for a 360 movie so i don't recall seeing it more then one time):thumbsup2

First off, I know what was previously there. Believe me...

Secondly, AE and Timekeeper were absolutely original ideas. Stitch is based on A) Lilo & Stitch and B) Alien Encounter. Alien Encounter used the same space as Mission to Mars, but that has nothing to do with anything. The storyline, characters, pre-show, etc. were all 100% original...

In the same respect, CircleVision 360 was not an original concept, but no one said it was. Timekeeper (the storyline, the humor, etc.) was 100% original as well.

I misread your post. my apologies. didn't mean to upset you. :flower3:

Honestly, the park that has been ignored the most (and lost the most attractions) is Epcot, particularly the Future World side. So if I could remake that park, I'd do the following...

- Reopen a Life pavilion with all new rides and shows. Body Wars could easily be brought into the 21st century through an all new re-imagining. It could easily rival any simulator ride at Universal. However, I would also add back "smaller" attractions into the pavilion as well - a younger child "show/experience" (loved Cranium Command back in the day, but again, we have advanced so much in nanotech and genetics that we could re-imagine this attraction), a 4-d movie experience, and/or a live show/entertainer could all fit in the area.
- Re-imagine the Imagination Pavilion. Phineas and Ferb delve into the world of the imagination every day - it should be easy to gut the pavilion and give a true "imagination" experience to any who want it. A brand new 4d movie, a brand new motion ride, and a brand new sensory/imagination experience area should be easy and cheap to pull together. During this imagining, Disney should keep Figment in a role in one of the attraction areas b/c to me, he is Epcot. Also, this would become the obvious place for the Agent P mission kick-offs and the Phineas/Ferb meet and greets...
- Open a new pavilion focused on "Super"sciences (use the old Horizons area)...Now that Disney owns Marvel, it would be easy to integrate a Superhero-type attraction, focused on the science of the super. Again, like my ideas above, there should be a headliner attraction, a lesser attraction, and an experience area (for those who want to "be" supers)...the experience area could constantly be changing with the tech that makes us newly "super"...and this could also be an area to integrate "supers" meet and greets...
- Update the Energy Pavillion - the advances in this field since the Ellen movie and creation have been staggering...it's old and needs updating...

I could go on, and may later (b/c the Future side needs even more), but this is the minimum that needs to happen in EPCOT (and soon) before it becomes a park for drinking and hitting TT and Soarin' (and maybe Sum of All Thrills) and then jetting.

Kind of think Epcot has already kind of become that park. People rush to TT and Soarin' than to WS to indulge in some adult magic. It's defiantly not the Epcot from my childhood.

I'm with the Horizons crowd as far as attractions go. The one thing I lament the most at WDW is the food quality of the 90s though. To me, lessening food quality at TS restaurants has been the most negative change Disney has ever made.

Hands down, I would bring back the Adventurer's Club. What a unique, hilarious experience! All of the amazing improvs. No matter how many times we went, every "show" was different and amazing in its own way. I was lucky enough to get pulled onto stage to play a Swedish nanny in one of their old-fashioned "radio plays.: After a moment of being petrified with stage fright, I thought, "What the heck!" and just went with it. Faking a Swedish accent was a hoot! How completely, totally fun.

Kungaloosh!

They need to partner with google for future world I feel as google is on the cutting edge of almost everything and could bring some cool tech ideas.
