1/6/2007 Early Roll Call...Anyone Else Going???

I saw the 2008 rates (January-April) came out today. Is anyone planning to book another cruise (now or onboard)?

I know we are not. With the prices always going up, both kids over 3 and DS starting school next year so no more traveling in ''value'' periods, I don't think we could afford it. I guess we'll have to travel elsewhere and go to WDW when we want a Disney vacation.

I'll have to make that decision after our cruise. I don't know if my BF will ever want to go again.

Also, I'm a DVC member, so I can use my points if I want to.

DH and I plan to book a date for 2008 on the cruise. But we will most likely change to a date we decide on later on.

Hello Hello Hello... where is everyone?

about a week ago one of our employees fell off of a ladder while he was changing out track lighting in the front room of the restuarant. he suffered severe head trauma and was care flighted to a hospital in Fort Worth from Denton. exactly 1 week later he is up and walking and started rehab at a hospital in dallas. i'm convinced he is some kind of super hero. for those of you that were on the this thread from the beginnign you may remeber my dad passed away in july from the same kind of injury. it was a great lesson for me to know that eveyone is different and that just because you suffer from serious head trauma, you are able to recover. we are hoping for a full recovery from our employee and can't wait to have him back with us. we are quite the family at our restaurant.

with all of that going on, the owner was at the hospital most of the time along with the kitchen manager who is the employee's older brother. needless to say, i put in a little extra time at work this week. i was happy to do it though, as there was no where else i would rather be.

so i have to catch up on some school work and start on wedding invites!!! my sister brought us the bridal minnie headband and top hat with mickey ears when she was in WDW before her sept cruise. i'm hoping to wear them for the picture you take as soon as you get on board.

my shower is next weekend and i'll let you know if i got anything fun that's cruise related.
