LWQuestie,

I get the magnetic paper online. I haven't found a "store" that sells it. I would prefer to get it from real storefront so I can save on shipping and I get it on the spot. Let me know if you find out of any stores that sell it. I hope it would be a major chain.

red91wing,

I'll check to see if she wants to e-mail your DD. CaptainJack has 12 year old twin daughters. :cutie: :cutie: I bet they will all love to hang out together. If you look at CaptainJack's signature there is a link to the virtual cruise photo album. He has pictures posted of his daughters.

how exciting there are so many of us and even another honeymoon couple!

i have seen magnetic paper that you can run through your computer at some office supply stores such as Office Depot. if you have a certain kind of xyron machine you can by a roll for it that laminates on the front and is magnetic on the back.

more about Rose Costumes, since you asked. It's an independantly owned shop that started in '76 as a vintage clothing store. Judy, the owner, loves to sew and eventually started making things to sell in the store. after a few years she moved her store from our college hang out street to just off of our downtown square. (denton is a little town at heart) then a couple of years ago, while we were still working there, they moved into a strip center doubling their amount of space. the other cool thing about the store is it's decor. each of the 8 dressing rooms has a theme. gypsy, showgirl, harley davidson, "psycho" the movie, etc. and one is even an outhouse that was built by her son and can be moved around the store. the bathroom is sherlock holmes house, there is a pirate ship in the middle of the store and the renaissance costumes live in sherwood forest. i learned a lot more than ordering retail there, you never knew what crazy new decor the owner would have us working on that day. we had as many tools as we did sewing supplies. they have thousands of rentable costumes that have been made by the owner and staff. a really neat place and we are currently considering having our wedding ceremony there. we met working there and we are on a pretty tight budget so a free place would be great.

NYAna - i believe you sign up for the tastings at guest services. they are offered a couple of different times during the week and you can look them up on the navigators. i don't really know how much they cost, when i went on the last cruise i only did the wine tasting and i'm pretty sure it was $10-$15.

Thanks! I am going to try Office Depot next week. I'll let everyone know if I find it there.

Thanks for the wine tasting info. At least I know where to look. I didn't have a clue before.

Have you seen all the ''celebs'' posting on each and every board? Even the Tag Fairy is posting! :tinker: Maybe we will have visitors on our thread too? :confused3

Soleilmagie, What? :confused3 What are you talking about?

Okay, now I see what you mean. I see that Ty Pennington posted. That is toooo cool. I love him and Extreme Makeover Home Edition. I loved him since he was on Trading Spaces.

You can also get magnetic paper at Wal-Mart. I was going to print our door sign on it, but decided to print it on photo paper and then buy magnetic strips in the craft department at Wal-Mart. The poster looked much nicer on the photo paper and the magnetic stips were much cheaper than photo paper--77 cents for the magnetic strips.

Soleilmagie! What is going on? I don't understand why there are so many "celeb" posting all over the place. Some people are saying that it's just the Mods with costumes on pulling a prank on us all. I can't see the Mods impersonating celebs (real people). Isn't this illegal? I bet they could get into major problems if they were infact pulling a prank on us.

I hope that they are the "real" celebs and not imposters. But this is all so confusing. Why are they on the DIS boards getting us pumped a "secret project". And why would Oprah or Ellen be in on this?

What is your take on all this also? It's all fun but really weird.

It seems someone on the community board guessed correctly so we should know soon! popcorn::

Hi LWQuestie,

You do know that a passport is not required as originally stated? Although it is a good idea that you get it. I've had mine since I was an infant and have kept it current since. Just wanted to tell you that you shouldn't worry in case the cruise date is getting closer and you haven't received it yet.

But Yippee for getting it!! :yay:

Hi NYAna,
Yes, I'm aware it's no longer required for this trip, but I want to have it, and this is as good an excuse to get it as anything else.
Thanks!
I'm super excited. :Pinkbounc

I'm so bummed cause I found out from another thread that Disney has Florida Resident Discounts for a few dates in January and it's not for our date. I called Disney and the CM told me that the dates for the FL discount for now is just Jan 20 and 27. Oh well. I'll keep calling.
