Hello all. I have good news and bad news. First, the bad news--we will not be going on the January 6 cruise. The good news is that we will still be on a cruise, but not until September. For various reasons, including my daughters' skating competition schedule, we have had to postpone our cruise to September 15. (Some of the saddest words ever typed given we are less than 2 months from the cruise date). I know all of you will have a great time on the cruise.

Are you kidding? No way! Lionel... you have shocked me! So sad to hear you and you twin daughters won't be traveling with us.

Well, at least you rescheduled and will eventually be going.

Welcome to the newcomers, I know I have been away for a while, still working crazy hours. As for the families that were asking about the young kids going, We have a son 8 and a daugther 7 and a daughter 16, we will be in Cat 4 on deck 8 I think

What do you find depressing? Our non responding group? The weather (it's been raining for days out here... )? Having to wait more than a month before our cruise?

We should keep focus on the good things!

my shower was great. three of my closest friends came with me to my mom's on sat night and she took us out to dinner and afterwards we drank wine in the kitchen and made some things for brunch the next morning. my 2 sisters, niece and sister in law came over about 11 and we had a great time. it was a small shower since i chose to have it at my mom's which is about 2 hours away from where i live. one of the party games was to divide into teams and make a wedding dress on one of the people out of toilet paper in 10 min. that made for some great pics. we got some $ for the cruise, and for our house, and matching Mickey Mouse luggage sets for the cruise!! the only downside is that i have been sick with a head cold since friday and was not at 100% to enjoy it all. i am getting better, now i just have to get rid of the cough.

my co-worker is out of the hospital and will be in out patient rehab for the next couple of months. we got to see him sat. and today, it was wonderful!

we'll miss you captain jack!!!!

Instead of spending 8 hours in the airport after the cruise, we decided to go to Kennedy Space Center right after we get off the boat. Has anyone done this before? Can we see what we need to see in 4 or 5 hours?

This is going to be a meeting trip for us, I can't believe it!

A few weeks ago, my dad told us he and his wife were going to the USA for the next few months in their camping minivan. They're going to meet us while we're at WDW before the cruise! I haven't told the kids... they're going to be so surprised to see their grandfather! It will be a first trip to WDW for both our kids and his wife.

Then, last week, DBF found out a coworker of his was going to be in WDW during the cruise and a few days after. So we might plan something and see them when we go to WDW on the 13th!

And today, I just learned my boss will also be leaving by plane from Montreal on January 1st. She is going to Panama. She didn't know when her flight is leaving, but there is a definite chance we will see each other at the airport!

i think it's really great your Dad is going to meet you in WDW, what a fun experience to share with the newbies.

i was looking at the date and this day in january we will have been back from the cruise for 3 days and it's the first day of the spring semester.

can you believe how quickly the time is going? i will be working on/sending out wedding invites in the next week or so. i found this really cool velour paper on sale at Tuesday Morning made by strathmore, it's white and fuzzy, and looks very neat when you print on it, perfect for our winter white wedding.

tomorrow is our 3 year anniversary since our first date and our one year engagment anniversary, we will celebrate on sat though, DF has school tomorrow night to make up for missing on thanksgiving next week.
