That's a good thing! I'm now headed off to drill team competition. Have to drive through nightmare traffic 32 miles north to get there though. And then back tomorrow from 8 a.m. - 8 p.m. or so!

Good morning everyone. So glad the weekend is here. We don't have much planned. Just a quiet one at home. The usual things like laundry and grocery shopping. I have a little work I sent home that has to be done and I'm also hoping to get a little more work done on my scrapbooks. Have a great day everyone!

Good morning back at 'ya, Mary. Now I know it is Saturday!! My DD, Karen, does the scrapbooking also. She is worse than Linda at it and has some beautiful ones over the years. I can't wait to see the one from our 12/9 cruise with the baby. I have so many points on "mycokerewards" that I ordered a photo album with all the pics in it from that cruise and can't wait to get it.

Does anyone else do the "mycokerewars". They have some good items to choose from and all are free w/free shopping. My family saves all the numbers for me.

Have to take my Shelby out and feed her. All have a great weekend. Hope everyone's weather is getting better

hope everyone's Saturday is a good one. it is rainy here in Ft. Lauderdale. But nothing that will stop me from going outside.

I took my bike into the bike shop this morning to get new tires and checked up. Thought I would start riding again. The evenings are so nice. It will boost my endurance up a little.

I should try and use the Segway but I'm not sure about my balance right now. Maybe I will try that in the near future. A lot of friends sure are made by riding the Segway around the neighborhood. That's nice.

have a great Saturday everyone

Today was an excellent day! A little back story. Back when Mark and I were dating the group we hung around with were into British shows. There was one we all watched on very bad video tapes (taped off of tv with a video camera and then copies made) of a show called The Professionals. Anyway a friend of mine told me about a new shop down by her that had all kind of science fiction and British media. Looking at their website we saw they had the complete collection of The Professionals on DVD. Only problem is that they are Region 2 (aka PAL, which means they don't work on US players). Well imagine our surprise when grocery shopping this morning we found a $40 DVD player that said it could handle PAL! We bought it, took a ride down to this store and bought the DVD's and now we are watching this show again...but crystal clear this time. OK it is a cheesy British cop show from the 80's but we are enjoying it. It takes so little to make me happy some times. :)

We have just booked. While it is not our first cruise, it is our first Disney Cruise and member cruise! We are SOOOOO excited - just the two of us!

Welcome aboard! Always great to see more cruisers added. As Kay said send her your info for post #1 and if you read post #3 you'll see how to get to our group web page and what info you can send me if you want to be added.

Many of us have been on past Member Cruises so if you have any questions just ask!

Thanks for the warm welcome! I have e-mailed all I thought was requested. I hope you got it. I look forward to getting to know all of you!

How do I put the member cruise icon for this cruise in my signature? I notice many of you have it, and I would like to do that too. Thanks for your patience. I am new to the board.

Glad to have you join our little group. Welcome

Mary, I love British TV. I haven't seen that series. Tell me more.

There are actually two of them. For the one in my signature the properties can be found on our web site. Carol and her DH designed the one that changes. For either one just go to your user CP, edit signature, then add the image in just like you did for your ticker.

Got your e-mail and hope to have your info added to the web page in the next couple of days.

Today was a busy day for the "cobbler" household. We knew that we were going to have to add more insulation. So while hubby was crawling up the attic he noticed that in a couple of spots we could see daylight, and large amounts of it to. So off to Lowe's to buy some insulation for our attic. Get up there more and notice there isn't an ounce of insulation in the overhang area of our roof in the attic. So 38 bags later we filled all the overhang in and added a couple of inches to the main area.

I got the fun job of filling the hopper with the bales while he was up in the attic blowing it around. It was a rough job, that hopper went through those bags fast and the bales weren't exactly light. It was quite the workout for me today but it should definatly help with the heat bill. I couldn't believe that there wasn't any insulation in areas up there!

Glad to have you join our little group. Welcome

Well the series is based on an elite group called CI5. The ones who can stop anything or anyone that goes wrong. The head of the group is played by Gordon Jackson who you may know as the butler in Upstairs/Downstairs. The other two are played by Martin Shaw and Lewis Collins. Playing Doyle and Bodie. Think of Starsky and Hutch with British accents and playing a lot rougher and dirtier than they would in the US. I hear tell that the show was shown many many years ago in the US when pay per view first came out...can't think of the name of the service but it was before cable became popular (now I'm really showing my age). Like I said we heard about it through fandom that was started with Dr. Who and then into Blake's 7 (another British Sci-Fi show and how Mark and I actually met).

Mandy - sounds like you got quite the workout today. I'm sure you will see results not only in your heating bill but also with the Biggest Loser challenge. :)
