Thanks Dan and Nan for the reminder. I just called DVC, we are staying at AKV on Friday and Saturday night before the cruise. I have an Orbitz alert watching the airfare. Hopefully it will come down soon.

We booked this morning with Delta nonstop round from Logan $228.00 per person. I didn't think that was to bad.

We usually do Delta or Southwest as they are the only ones with a direct flight. Congrats on the great rate.

I checked airfares, but right now the cheapest I can get is $426, so I'm going to wait and see what else comes up.

Hi everyone! Checking in after a very long day. I feel like I spent the entire day driving. Left the house about 9 to head out to the funeral. Had to drive to a far Western suburb for that - about a 45 minute drive. We had gone to the wake last night and I was able to see a number of my Mom's friends who are left as well as pay my condolences to Margie's three sons. This morning the funeral home was packed. After a brief prayer service we drove over to the church where they did a very beautiful service. Then a very long processional all the way down South (about another 45 minute drive) to the cemetary. I passed on going to the luncheon since I had to get home and get to the dentist. Since I was already so far South I headed East and went into my old neighborhood. So many changes. The biggest shock was finding that the rectory to my old Church is gone!

Got home in time to relax for about an hour and then headed back out to the dentist. An hour is the chair and then back home. So here I sit with a very numb mouth.

Well only one day of work and then I get another weekend. Thanks to all for the concern over my loss. She was a very special lady but I know she's happy to be reunited with her husband and her many friends.

Glad the funeral was so nice. I've done the same thing when I've been back in California and visited the house where I grew up. Things are so small, they were a lot bigger when I was a kid!
