Man, I can't believe it. My DW has been here since last night, and hasn't even looked in the garage at the shelves I built. A lot of extra work to sand and paint them, because she wanted them painted to match the garage. At most I would have just stained them because I like the look of wood.

Hi Everyone!

Our British guests are home so I have time to sit here for a few minutes! Glad they left late last night before all of the hub bub that is going on today!!

Seems pretty quiet at the moment - probably won't last! Anyone have plans for the weekend? I have to work for part of it, but then company comes again tomorrow - our friend from Michigan will be staying with us til Tuesday! Never a dull moment at our house!!

I went to Pittsburgh for a few days and came back to so many more posts. It's hard to stay caught up and then have time to write too. It doesn't help that I lost my phone in the attic in the halloween costumes before I left so I didn't have my phone for a week either. I had planned to stay in touch and catch up while my DH drove. So much for that plan.
DH is now finishing up his week long bike trip from Pittsburgh to DC. Tomorrow I get to head up to DC to pick him up. I wish I liked to drive more than I do so I could enjoy all these long driving trips. OR I wish I could just fly and had my own jet to get around. But then, I'd probably just scoot down to Orlando most of the time instead of heading north.
I hope all of you made it safetly through the storms.

Hey Dan!

I know, I was surprised as you were about the Non-Alcohol section. Notice though, it is very tiny. We took the metra up from the south burbs. Drops us off right at the first tunnel pretty much. Easy. So we were there an hour and a half early. It was nice to walk around and get food, take pics, and relax. Yes, we have season tickets. Have had them for about 10 years now. When the Bears went to the Super Bowl, we were picked in a lottery for two tickets. They were expensive as hell, but we paid for them. They were Super Bowl tickets!!!!!!!!!!! Anyway, we ended up selling them. We couldn't afford to go to Miami. Prices were all jacked up. There are always a couple of games we don't go to, for one reason or another, so we will keep you in mind if you would like. Thank goodness the Bears have a week off. At least we can't lose.
