No docs here yet. I filled out all of the information online. Will I still receive something in the mail? :confused3

I came home today to find a white envelope from DCL. Inside was a letter thanking me for filling out the forms online, as well as luggage tags, immigration cards, and a checklist. So something will come for you!

J Is it better to fill out the cruise docs online or the ones that came with the documents? And do I need a birth certificate for each child? Please feel free to offer any advice...even things unrelated that you feel are important for the cruise. :listen:

There is a date beyond which you cannot fill out the docs online....so, if you haven't filled them out online by now, it is too late....everything will come in the mail - you can fill those out (not really as bad as it sounds)...

And YES, you will need a birth certificate for every person and a driver's license (or other ID, check the list) for everyone 18 or over.

By the way, don't forget the birth certificates as, technically, they can deny boarding...we would miss you!!!

See everyone soon

Behtpooh4 - I see NO reason why your "close-to-the-cruise" birthday cannot be celebrated on board!!! If you and I are in the clubs at the same time, I'll be sure to mention it to the CMs....celebrating Disney style just doesn't get any better....

DD will turn 14 on the cruise. :bday: I was wondering if I should do anything other than mentioning it to our servers? :confused3

If you had planned on making any door signs, maybe make a special one celebrating her birthday?
If you booked through a TA maybe call them to note it in your reservation that she has a bday.

SHHHH.....I would die of embarassment....

Hello Cruisers! :wave2:

No docs here yet, but we booked through Costco so I bet they will take longer. We're getting very excited but feeling overwhelmed too. We leave on the 19th for a few days at Universal before the cruise, so packing is going to be a challenge.

I've been working on some "California" stuff for our bag, still need a few things though. I've started my packing list but we still want to make some tie dye t-shirts so I need to get busy and get those done.

I think the meet on deck 10 would be fine, unless you want to try and find the secret deck on deck 7. We're probably not getting to the ship until 2pm or so but should be able to make the meet at 3pm.

If any of you that are getting there early would like to try and help me out with a Palo ressie drop me a pm. We'll make it worth your while! :rolleyes1

Well, looking forward to seeing you all soon.

ps-DVC California, where in San Jose do you live? We're over by Westgate Mall. Small world.

so i went to visit my best friend from college in boston last weekend and i picked some stuff up from there for our bag. i'm thinking of some more stuff to get as well, there are a lot of places around where i live in massachusetts that are touristy.

apparently my mom said we still don't have our docs yet, only my sister got hers. i'm hoping they get it before they come to visit me this coming weekend. too bad yankee candle is finishing their huge clearance on the 4th...

Ok, I know that I have been a little scatter-brained lately  ....but I totally forgot to get passports for my DS and DD  . From what I understand they HAVE to have them. If any of you know otherwise, please let me know. Right now I feel like it will be a miracle if we actually make it on the ship. :worried: I'm sure it will all work out...just need to put on my running shoes and get movin'.

:dancer: Wooweee!!! We're doin' the cruise doc dance here. The boys asked if we were leaving tomorrow....hmm, maybe hiding the docs would've been a good idea. They'll be asking 10 times a day if it's time to go yet.

I'm officially WAY behind. Got my younger DS a shirt and tie last night, but there was nothing in my older boy's size. Still need to get both of them some fancier shoes. I'm also more than a couple items short on the bag exchange.

Everyone have a safe and fun 4th...DW has me booked until the 5th with the "Honey-Do" list.

Ok...relax...breathe....
Repeat after me...I will get through this...

No you do not need passports for DS and DD....a raised seal birth certificate is all you need. Passports are not required till cruises after Dec 31,2006.
We are all traveling with birth certificates and photo ID's for the adults and kids. Actually once they see our military ID's customs usually don't ask us for the birth certificates. BUT the certificates must have a raised seal.

Hope this helped.

We are in South San Jose, near Santa Teresa and Cottle (south of Oakridge Mall). ;)

Yes, "It'a small world after all." :rotfl2:

Does anyone know if you can book more than your 10 hours for Flounder's Nursery? I thought someone told me that you can book your 10 ahead of time (we did that) but that then, once you get on the ship you might be able to get additional time. Does that sound right? :confused3

Savagefam,

That sounds right. I read somewhere if other people haven't used their 10 hrs, they may allow you to book extra time. I think you need to check regularly.

I have read so many threads that I am hopelessly confused.

Saturday - 3pm meet

Monday - formal night, right?

which night is semi-formal?

which night is pirate night?

:joker: I can't wait!!!!

thanks

My lists and my brain are spinning out of control! :surfweb:
