ONE WEEK TO GO!!!

I will be MIA this weekend as we will be having an early Easter celebration with my sister and nephew who are traveling up from Maryland.

Question: Does anyone know our sailaway time on the 27th?

Reminder: There will be a pre-sailing DIS-meet for lanyard and FE list distribution on Deck 10 Starboard side (that's the right side of the ship) - overlooking the Goofy pool from 2:30 to 3:30pm - If it's raining, we will move the Promenade Lounge.

You are so right about having the horn sound as we go under the bridge! It there is anyone else on this cruise like me and I am sure there is we could all have our ringtone go off if the captain doesn't cooperate. DH thought for sure I was one of few that had the ringtone of the horn until we went on the Baltic cruise and learned there area a lot of us!
Hopefully there will be more security on the bridge but you just never know.
Two weeks from today we will be traveling up the CA coast. DH is going to see if he can find San Simeon. Does anyone know how far out to sea we will be and if we can see the beautiful CA coastline on our trip north.

We no longer have room to pack our full costumes, but we have T-shirts and scarves to tie around our heads!

NJPrincess - I just noticed you are from Somerset NJ, I just spent last weekend there at the Hampton Inn. I go twice a year to the CJDPT weekend there. We always have a blast!

Wow, I just looked this up! I had no idea that Pin Trader's met in Somerset. Glad to hear you have a good time. I used to work down the block from there on Davidson Ave.

Gloves, I wish I knew where mine were, too, Thank goodness I do have something that will do. Because it is going to be so cold up there, by all reports, I think I have dressier pants and a nice blouse. One thing for sure, no sports jerseys. Maybe I will pick one up while there? 11 more days, 11 counting today. Still dragging.

Dressy pants and nice blouse sound like a great idea.

As for dragging - I have the opposite problem - between work and getting ready for the cruise I feel like time has sped up to 100 mph! We are headed to DL on Easter Sunday so this is my last weekend to get everything together. But this is a good problem to have!

Don't forget about your 4 carry on bags--well, 2 suitcases for carry ons and 2 personal items. We always pack our stuff in our carry on suitcases then have 1 checked bag at the 50lb limit. For our other carry ons we usually use the camera bag and a back pack. Good luck!

1. FE exchange rules. There are no rules. Do whatever you are comfortable with.
2. If you are on the list and do not wish to participate, PM me right away.
3. Understand no roster is perfect. Use your best judgment. The last cruise I was on there was a stateroom with an FE hanging outside, yet nobody knew who they were and they appeared on no roster. 2 other rooms who were thought to participate, had no FE.
4. In order have time to get gifts ready, this roster has been finalized. Obviously stateroom changes occur, so keep me posted.

Does anyone have a suggestion of where to get inexpensive pirate costume stuff? The local party store that I checked here in Vancouver was really expensive, so I'm hoping there's somewhere near DLR (we have a rental car) that would be a bit more reasonable.

Anything comfortable, they are very used to tourists. It is geared for tourists. Have been multiple times. Love it!
