We fly in on Easter Sunday, wanted to do a couple days at Disneyland before the cruise. Going to a concert at House of Blues there as well so should be great

We are driving down on the 26th from Northern CA and will be at the Residence Inn in Long Beach. Drive takes about 9 hours, uck, but when we added up the flight fees, to and from airports and then getting to Long Beach and then to the ship...we are saving money! It was cheaper to rent a car one way.

So one more week and a day at home before we leave.

FE are all done and ready to go!
DD pirate outfit all sewed and ready to go!
Suitcases come down today.Time to think about clothes to take.
I worked in the yard yesterday on the sprinklers/drip system. I fixed and adjusted them (after getting a puppy) for the time we will be gone.

Weather has been beautiful here but SF is usually colder. Remember layers.

I'm flying in the evening of the 26th. I would have liked to fly in over Easter weekend for some time at DL since my AP doesn't expire until mid-May, but I actually have to work on Monday & Tuesday. Pesky job!

Since I'm not landing at LAX until 10:30pm, I'm just staying the night at an LAX-area Starwood hotel (I think right now I'm booked at the Sheraton, but it might be the Westin) and will take the airport shuttle back to LAX the next morning to pick up DCL transfer.

I won't attempt packing until next weekend, but I can safely say my pirate costume will be one of the things I pack. Wench power!

We are - but late to arrive - our flight gets in after 9pm at LAX -

I'm a night owl - are you thinking mini-pre-meet or shuttle over together really early?

I'm wondering where I can see the "kid list" for our cruise??? our kiddos - Willie 11 and Molly 13 will be looking for fun and friends - anyone in this age range???

WOW we are all over the place,

Nanette, we will be shooting for an early shuttle, knowing me I will not be sleeping but Lynn will make me try to sleep. So ya never know I might be sitting there in the lobby,

Speaking of which , when can we arrive at the cruise terminal?? Off to check our documents.

After spending the whole day at it yesterday, we are now packed, except for the last minute stuff - yes, we could not fit everything in the original 2 bags, so had to add a third checked bag, with the one duffle we could find packed for overflow coming home! (We did the Barcelona to Dover Repo then the Baltic cruises on 2 checked bags (and smaller carry-ons), don't know why it is taking more room for this one, that was also a cool weather trip!)

Save travels to all who are leaving early!

The Westin Hotel in Long Beach. That's where I have been told I am staying.

I am a rider, not a driver, so we will see where we end up. It is always an adventure with Michael. He said "first stop.......liquor store". Maybe I will be the driver after all!

We are not heading to the port until the morning of the 27th also. But with Los Angeles traffic, it may take us right up until sail time for us to get there from our house! Your having booked through Disney means they will not sail without you if their transprotation is running late. If your bags do not make it, they will make sure it catches up in San Francisco. You will be ok. See you on the ship.
