I simply loved the plaza it seriously is a hidden gem. The food was really good and it wasn't crowded because well, it's so small! I'm glad you got your mom on splash mountain I have a new appreciation for it. I used to just ride it once a trip because I believe I told you I dislike getting soaked But as long as I'm in the back row I only get a little wet and can enjoy the cute little story And music <3 Can't wait for moreee! Yay now i'm aaalll caught up!

I finally made my way over to this trip report and I'm loving it. My Mom and I always have fun on our mother daughter and it's nice to see how another mother daughter group do disney together.

Good to know that the filet and mac and cheese can still be ordered even though it is no longer on the menu. I have been craving it for years but have not yet had the chance to try it.

Haha I know! I can't wait to take a ton of pictures and post them all in my trip report! Thanks! I know what you mean haha I'm going to force myself to take the big one everyday though because I DID buy it for Disney. It's not too heavy though so that's always good.
Ahh I totally forgot to test it out until I saw this post. Tonight, I'm going to and I'll get back to you with all the results tomorrow.
The Plaza seems very nice! Every year my mom and I have been trying to get in without reservations & it's always been full, so I'm glad we finally get to go this year.
YESSS! Now 3! Or, if we wanna get all technical, 2 days, 7 hours and 7 minutes. (Got that thanks to my Disney Vacation Connection app. )
Also- I love your dress in the Epcot pictures! So pretty!

Chapter 8 - Flower and Garden Goodness
April 8th, 2011

We continued to venture forward and stop at many and more Flower and Garden sights.

But first, we had to take a picture and one of my favorite obscure things at Disney - The Fountain of Nations!!

I have an obsession with this fountain. I think because it features not only the Disney water smell, but dancing water set to Disney Music!! It's fantastic.

I guess it was a smart idea to wear this dress, because it seemed to compliment everything very nicely! I like to coordinate my outfits to match my favorite Disney theme parks.

Oh look, Mother matched too!

I spotted the Winnie the Pooh topiaries and got SUPER excited! They were just too cute!

I just love Tigger so much! I think it's because he has been my Dad's favorite character for as long as I can possibly remember!

RABBIT!

The sun was just beginning to set, which made for beautiful reflections on the water. Aka fantastic photo opportunities!

My Nana owns a greenhouse, so my Mom just LOVES flowers! She likes to take as many pictures possible so we can show my Nana.

Cars 2! I saw that movie at the Drive-in... it was really cute! I enjoyed it a lot. I like how it was like an action movie haha. So intense!

I'm very thoroughly amused by these things haha. I want one!

I believe this was near the Tea Shop. Mother almost bought some chamomile tea here... but decided to wait on it. I can't remember if we ever went back to get it or not... maybe!

This little arch will forever remind me of my first night in Disney on the Frump trip when Kristen and I stayed out in Extra Magic Hours at Epcot and then got to walk back to the YaCHt Club from a completely empty Epcot!

I still haven't done the new meet and greet! I'll definitely have to get there in August!

I decided that there's nothing more magical than the look on a child's face when they meet their favorite character. It is usually in the deerish range.

SPLASH MOUNTAIN. <333333333 TWO WEEKS UNTIL I HIT THE BRIAR PATCH AGAIN!

Ugh. PDA. When I was in line at ToT a few days ago (I love being able to say that. ) there was some major lip lock goin on in front of me. It was really annoying.

My reaction was a somewhat coniption. I LOVED it. I think I'm gonna eat it soon. I don't want it to get gross haha. But I am SO saving the box.

It looks like there were a lot more flower displays in April than when I was there in May. I guess they would have to remove them as the flowers die.

Love all the photos from this update! Especially that one you took of the reflections on the water during sunset, they're so beautiful! That's my favorite part of the F&GF actually, I just love that stretch of flowers right by the water

I've always wanted one of those spinning wind things too, I could just stare at that stand all day watching them spin

Oh, the Fountain of Nations are just gorgeous. I totally agree, I could just watch that thing all day. The sad thing is I can never really hear the music, because there are so many people walking around the area, but I've listened to it by itself and it sounds SOOO cool! I'm also quite interested in this Disney water smell you are speaking of Hahahahaha

I love those Winnie the Pooh topiaries! They seemed to do a lot more with the extra detailing adding those quotes along the fence and the balloons. to the Tigger pose! And I love the photos at sunset of the reflections on the water so pretty.

Oh those little spinning wind thingeys are so mesmerizing! I could just entertain myself with those things, always trying to figure out how they make them out. Yeah, that's what I think when I'm staring at the most stupid thing ever LOL

Ahaha! Yesterday I charged both my camera's batteries so they're all ready to go! I'm so sorry I didn't get to go outside & play around with it, believe me, I was curious to see how they'd turn out too. But two nights ago there was a really bad thunderstorm scared1 and yesterday, well the Bachelorette. Of course I'll be playing around with it at Disney though.

I'm sooooo soooo excited! I have a Disney Vacation Connection app on my laptop and here's what it says right now...

Don't mind the name! It's a joke with my mom. You know the Waste It thing at Innoventions? For our team name, I put "Team Amazing Peeps" and the lady who brings over the trash can said it all awkwardly and we just died. But anyways, it's so nice seeing 0 days!


By the way, your pictures are so fantastic! The Fountain of Nations one is incredible. Your mom must have been in Heaven at the Flower & Garden festival!

We totally have one of those Mickey suncatcher things! Bought it the last time that we went to the F&G festival.

All of the pictures are so pretty! I love going during F&G. It's just so nice to take your time and take in all of the sights.
