Having stayed at both the Holiday Inn and the Movenpick, I must say they are both excellent hotels and you are unlikely to get a Disney Hotel cheaper. Bear in mind though that your park passes will be included in a Disney hotel package, but not in the above hotels if you book direct with them...

You can get one day tickets at the Kyriad and then use them to get into the park. Go to the annual passport bureau which is to the left of the entrance to Discoveryland. Then when you buy the annual passes they will deduct the price of the day ticket. Will save you queuing to get tickets at...

You can buy a day pass at the offsite hotels, and then you can pay the extra at annual passport bureau to exchange for annual passes. This might be an idea, depending on where you are staying that is.

Yes it is very busy at that time of year. We went last year and felt that it was too busy to really enjoy the holiday. Much better before Christmas of after New Year. :wave2:

Yea, thats right. It often works out cheaper if you are buying 3 or more annual passes, also it gives you discounts on shopping and restaurants so it is much better to get annual passes. It wont give you any discounts/benefits in the US though. Have a good time. :wave2:
