Easiest, Least Painful or Funnest Queue to wait in?

Well, My kids love the Dumbo play pavilion so much that they begged us to go back when it was more crowded because they didn't have to wait at all between early hours and fast passes. We went one afternoon just so they could play in the big top for a bit.

Pick a Pearl Setting - Help Me Pick!!

Wow, I love them both! Especially the Minnie head. I think I need to get one for myself :-D

Dining Plan not worth it, right?

I wouldn't get Dining Plan in your situation. The math breaks down after even one "missed optimization." And unless you're going to a lot of buffets where your kids will be charged as adults, AND maximizing your QS and snacks - the chances are you will not only save money by paying OOP, you'll...

    Quick serve pizza in Epcot

There may be a flatbread somewhere, but we were told the only place to get pizza was sit-down in Italy. HOWEVER - if you go out the international gate and cross the bridge to your left, there is a pizza parlor. Get a full pie, two drinks, and two desserts (and plenty of plates) for two QS...

    Date Night ADR

OK, fabulous Dis-ers - I want your opinions (a dangerous way to start a thread! :) ) Short question - where should DH and I go for a date night ADR on our January 2015 trip? More pertinent details - we will be at Disney for 8 days with a standard dining plan. Most of our other meals will...

What are you doing for autographs

We've done homemade and boughten autograph books in the past. This year we are taking the Disney Jr Illustrated Encyclopedia, and also making signature tshirts or pillowcases (haven't decided yet) for my girls (9 and 6). We may do a "theme" pillowcase - like Princesses or Fab Five - so we can...

Just wondering who is going to see disney on ice Frozen?

My SIL and I have been taking my DDs (now 9 and 6) for the past 4 years to every Disney On Ice. They LOVED it, but I have to say it was not my favorite On Ice. The good thing is that it was basically exactly Frozen... plus (more) ice skating. The bad thing is that it's just Frozen ... plus...

    Coranado springs!

Reading with interest since - as of this morning - we will be first timers at CSR in January. I love people's reasons for AND against places. Sometimes why people put as a negative for them is a positive for me ;-)

In your opinion.... Is it worth that much???

In your case, what you're describing, I would sock the $$ aside and do a "self-pay" dining plan (aka - Out of Pocket ;-) ). You will almost definitely have $$ left over after covering the exact same food you planned to get - even without trying to eat cheaper. We personally get Dining Plan up...

    January 2015

Got our deal!!! We'll be at Coronado Springs from Jan 24-31, with my sister-in-law at Pop Century the same time. Huzzah! NOW it's official NOW I can get excited! :cool1:  :cloud9:

    Been on hold for...

This morning I was rethinking my TA. Not her, really - she's awesome. More using a TA because I'm so... hands on? Is that the polite way to describe a Diszilla? But hearing so many people having the wait times while I just waited for a call for the official # and to book with her makes me...

    TP & child swap?

I can't answer if they do - we didn't think they did and so have operated as if they didn't for our past two trips - but I can speak to why you would want to. My 10 year old DD is tall enough - and then some - to ride every ride at Disney. But she cannot. It is not a restriction by Disney...

    Walk-up or day of reservations

On our last trip school got cancelled on our departure day, so we left early and made it all the way to Disney by 11 pm. Too late to get any value out of our Disney hotel, even if we had been able to add on. We used hotwire to get a room, and ended up at the Baymont Inn & Suites RIGHT...

    Memory Maker for Shorter Trip

I think MemoryMaker can still be a great investment on a shorter trip, but it really depends on what your family likes to do with pictures. I knew that there were some shots that would turn out better with PP+ (Storytime with Belle, night castle/ball/hat shots, Jedi Academy), and some ONLY...

Cell phone recommendation for child with autism?

This doesn't answer your specific question about wifi only apps, but have you checked options like PureTalkUSA? I recently switched from them, but my husband still uses them. You can get a SIM card for your phone for free, and plans as little as $5 a month (50 minutes, with texts being about...

    Merchandise Lament

We love t shirts, and they are one of my husbands favorite souvenirs (since if it is black he can wear it under his uniform)... but with more subtle designs. It's so hard to find at Disney! I actually started making our own "souvenir" shirts for the trip before we go, in the exact color, cut...

    Showing off my plus-size shirts!

I see that this is a "zombie thread", but I just wanted to chime in that the shirts look GREAT! I especially love the idea of hemming the sleep shirts. Those are always a weight and flowy fit that I like (just long) - especially in FL heat. And the lace Mickey is a really nice touch!
