    Magic Band Overload!

I have DVC, so I stay overnight at WDW several times a year. Each time I get a new set of Magic Bands, which I really don't need. I'd rather have one Magic Band with all of my info on it rather than new ones sent to me each time. Any advice?

Extra Seat for Hoop Dee Doo Revue - Dec 15

Yes, I was at my own table upstairs on the stage right. I think if I were to go again, I would just ask the server to prepare a plate for me. The show is a blast and you will have a great time! Even though I was dining solo, I didn't feel like I was alone at all.

Extra Seat for Hoop Dee Doo Revue - Dec 15

Hi Laura, I did this solo last summer and it was a blast. Warning though: they bring out lots of food even if it is for one person. I hated to see all the food go to waste, but hopefully you will be able to have someone join you. Enjoy! Mike

    Question about Carousel of Progress

Nothing at all about camping, but while camping :) I went to Magic Kingdom did the Carousel of Progress. I noticed that the dog dish in the 1940's scene said "TOWER." In the next scene, the dish says Rover, which is what he is called. Any idea who its named after or why it says "TOWER?"

    Justifying camping cost

One of my former-Navy co-workers says the same thing about cruising!!! For me, I get to be with nature when I'm camping and Fort Wilderness makes it very comfortable - especially the AC Comfort Stations which are always spotless and the laid-back structure of the campground.

    Tent Camping at FW

Follow up - I just returned from two nights at the fort. It was very quiet compared to being there in early June. This time I stayed in the 1500 loop and liked it a lot better than the 2000 loop. This time I brought my own food to cook, as opposed to the QSDP that I had last time. Of...

    Justifying camping cost

You may be able to use DVC points for the "cabins" at Fort Wilderness to give it a try. I went camping for the first time at FW last June and really enjoyed it. I hadn't been camping n 20 years, mostly because I spent 6 months in a tent in the first Gulf War and didn't even want to think about...

    just got back.. fun time..

So that's what the big sink in the laundry room is for! I thought it was just a laundry sink! I didn't need to wash many dishes during my stay there, but the ones I did I just used the hose. I'll know better next time!!! Glad you had a great time. There were a lot of things that I...

Does anyone know of a good campground for families near Busch Gardens

I had no idea that Lazy Days had a campground - I thought it was just an RV sales lot. It really looks like a great place!:yay::yay::yay:

Does anyone know of a good campground for families near Busch Gardens

While I didn't camp overnight there, I hiked the trails a few weeks ago. Here are some reviews of the campground, just scroll down to Hillsborough River State Park: http://www.rvparkreviews.com/regions/Florida/Thonotosassa.html Apparently, the pool has been reopened according to their...

I would make sure the bikes are equipped with lights if you are going to be riding at night.

Does anyone know of a good campground for families near Busch Gardens

You might be intersted in Hillsborough River State Park in Thonotosassa. The camp ground is very nice and the swimming pool has just been reopened. It is about 16 miles northwest of Busch Gardens. http://www.floridastateparks.org/hillsboroughriver/

    Tent Camping at FW

I have always had to have my pass ID number to get to the Passholder Offers. There is a website (MouseSavers.com) that keeps up with many of the passholder deals though.

    Tent Camping at FW

If you go to Passholder Offers, there are often discounted offers for lodging. This time I happened to get a great discount for FW.
