We thought it being gone was a permanent thing so its good to hear that its been off before then back on. We hadn't remembered it not being there in any of our trips through the years before this May.

We were at WDW 5/12 - 5/15 for a short trip and rode SE each of those days I think. We noticed that the Rome burning scene no longer has the 'smell' its always had. Anyone been on it since then? We were wondering if it was removed for some reason? :confused3

Yes unfortunately WDW is a prime location to spot oblivious people. I would hope that its just more prominent when they are on their vacation but I have a feeling some of them live their entire lives with the 'oblivious' condition. Another condition often seen there is rudeness.....buts...

I'm a little surprised that WDW is so lax with taking items on rides. I'm glad as Ive taken several on ride pictures there but I'm used to the local parks by us in NJ that are very strict about bringing anything on a ride. I think it depends if the person is responsible to hold on to...

For our first trip or two years ago we used the buses staying on-site. Since trying the rental car and driving ourselves option, we haven't used the bus since. Just seems like you have a freedom that you don't get using the bus transportation.

I used to have a D300 (not the 's' version) and now have a D700. The higher sensitivity of the D700 is very useful I've found. There is also something special about the pictures taken with the D700 that's hard to put my finger on. It's a great camera and one I can't see getting rid of anytime...

Thanks for the replies and examples! Has anyone had experience with using either Artizen HDR or Photomatix as a standalone option for creating HDR? Can JPG's be used successfully to create HDR with these programs? It appears that way from browsing their sites. Thanks

We had to evacuate the HM on our trip a couple weeks ago. It was only the second time we have had to evacuate a ride at WDW, the other was Spaceship Earth 2 years ago. We were in the graveyard right next to the signing statues. Fortunately we had our 'good' camera with us and got some pics...

We normally wont wait for long lines but we waited 3 1/2 - 4 hours for a ride on Kingda Ka back in it's opening year in 2005 at Six Flags NJ.

We were just there the past six days and during a period when there was no line for TTA we decided to ask if we could stay on and re-ride. We had done this in the past with no problem. The CM informed us that as of two weeks ago there is a no re-ride policy for TTA. :confused3 Anyone else...
