OT - those with kids in the North East!

We just had some taken in July last year so not looking to have any done at the moment really. Fab deal though :thumbsup2 The photo wasn't there when I looked before - she is just beautiful - so gorgeous! Looks just like you :-)

    Preview of Dreams!!

Fabulous - just amazing! Hate to put a dampener on it but.... my only concern is going to be how will it look on a light night earlier on in the season (anyone remember Candleabration - total letdown on a light night, fairly sure would have looked fab on a dark night!) I know they are...

(Another!) Please help me decide when to go PLEASE!!!

Going to throw a spanner in the works here but from the initial dates you mention, you don't seem to be working around actual school holidays? So, can you not go another week in June i.e. the week after Jubilee/half term week? I think it will be very quiet then and the prices seem to dip from...

    Easyjet - any offers/cashback?

Yikes Elaine - would we be OK to wait do you think? I've just rechecked and it's now almost £750 for us 4! :scared1: My concern is with it being half term/jubilee that prices won't go down that much really - they know their market! Argh - now I'm stressing about blooming flights as well...

    Easyjet - any offers/cashback?

Typically, Easyjet have just finished a sale and we've missed out :sad2:. The flights for a trip in June are now coming out at almost £700 for the 4 of us (2 ad, 2 ch). So I'm wondering if I can save anything in any way? I would prefer cashback (have checked a few sites and it only seems...

Go sooner and pay less.....or wait for Dreams.....

I too would wait - you've been a few times - it will be nice to see the new celebration :goodvibes But it depends if you want to book your 'hot' holiday around the same time as DLRP and your pennies I guess.....

Arrving at 5pm in off peak season.....

Hi Torsie Ha - a last minute trip :thumbsup2 As I'm presuming it will be you and Mr Torsie only, then if that were me I would hot foot it to the Park. Like others say, just drink in the atmosphere if nothing else - have a little browse in the shops, get a hot chocolate or something...

    Rides for baby!

I think there is a fair bit - it's what you feel comfortable with really (and what they say is safe). My DD2 was almost 6 months when we we went the first time and to be fair she did very little - poor thing looking back now! Having said that, we went on IASW quite a few times and Peter Pan...

How best to use EMH and get everything done in a weekend?

Echo what the others have said. Would personally do Peter Pan first as imo it's the most 'magical' of the Fantasyland rides and queues build up quickly. If you're not bothered about doing any adult rides you'll get much more done - so that is a bonus :thumbsup2 Another that gets queues...

Would I be mad to book a trip at such short notice? Advice please

I hope you get sorted for the trip. Not sure I would drive over there with my two on my own but if you can do then do go for it. Sorry to hear about your DD3, it must be incredibly difficult for your whole family . But your other DDs deserve a bit of a change and so do you by the...

The "Kids Only" Trip Report Jan 2nd - 6th 2012 Day 2 added!

Great start :thumbsup2 What time did you check in out of interest? And what did the VIP breakfast pass get you - was it just you turned up and didn't need a slot or have to queue or something?

Birthday celebration a few weeks after?

Thanks :goodvibes The biggest issue is DH pinning down his holiday (as you can appreciate it's not easy for him at the mo). At least everyone here will be put out of their misery when I know one way or the other :rotfl2:.

    Best Paid Breakfast Option onsite?

Christina - on the link Elaine posted earlier in her post I think it has the price - can't recall it as we've stayed in the hotel so it was included. I have to laugh, there will be a stampede of people now wanting to pay to eat breakfast at the DLH :rotfl2:. It is a lovely breakfast though -...

Is SQL th new number three DLP hotel?

I'm still thinking about SL for our trip in June but discounted NPB very early on. It looks a lovely hotel from the outside and its theme but it is just far too big - scrums at breakfast during peak times due to the large numbers involved isn't right really :sad2:. That is my personal opinion...

Birthday celebration a few weeks after?

Aw that sounds just fabulous. She is going to be so excited. I hope you have a big case for all those lovely dresses and things :thumbsup2 Great idea about the present at Auberge as well - hope they can oblige :goodvibes

1st timer getting excited - should I make a plan?

Been twice first time DD1 was 3.5, DD2 6 months, second time DD1 almost 4.5 and DD2 15 months. Both times we have planned what we want to do but not stuck to it rigidly - you can't with children as you never quite know how things will go. The parks are quite big so it is better to plan...

Birthday celebration a few weeks after?

I guess that they must get a lot of requests. I'll see how I feel nearer the time as it will be 3.5 weeks after her birthday. I really am keeping my fingers crossed that you get something for Rose - after all it is her birthday trip :goodvibes Even just some chocolate coins to acknowledge...

    Best Paid Breakfast Option onsite?

At the end of the day, no-one is to know where you are staying - you have paid a ticket price to go into Disneyland Paris so why not :goodvibes The twice we stayed there, we could have literally just been walking around the hotel - no-one every asked us or stopped us. We always seemed to...

Birthday celebration a few weeks after?

Thanks guys. I think I'll try - not too bothered about a cake for her - we will book Auberge and Cafe Mickey etc instead. DD1 can't eat the cake anyway and there are only 3 of us the, so it is a waste really. Would rather use the money towards a character meal :goodvibes. I think what I...
