Ever go on a ride with a character?

A few years ago (2009 or 2010) my daughters and I got to ride the teacups with Alice. It was awesome, and both of my little chatterboxes were nearly speechless the entire time!

    Turning blue

I'm in the same boat. I went ahead and bought my APs today over the phone so I could do the Magic Bands/ FP+. I was really hoping for the PAP, but I know last year at this time there were at least some rumors to that affect, so I'm guessing they are a no for this year.

How comfortable are the sleeper sofas in the Animal Kingdom Lodge Kidani Village?

I've had my daughters on them on a few trips and my sister and her friend on another trip and they have all slept well! I took a short nap on one once and it is MUCH better than most sleeper sofas.

    Studio vs. One Bedroom

We had only done 1BR in the past, until 2010 when we had a trip to Disneyland planned, and we also wanted to sqeeze in a WDW trip as well. To make our points work, we stayed 6 nights in a studio at VWL in May, and 3 nights in a studio at VGC in July. 6 nights was pushing it a bit, but it...

Hollywood studios must do's with 4 & 7 year old girls

My girls (8 & 5) also LOVED Star Tours on our trip last summer. We rode it over and over during EMH. It is now tied for their favorite ride in all of WDW. They really like the Star Wars movies and video games as well, much to the delight of my DH (and me too). We are a Star Wars family :)...

    Suggestions for character meals

I have 2 daughters, 8 & 5, and they both love 1900 Park Fare for dinner! Their favorite part is Prince Charming, and they love meeting Cinderella and Lady Tremaine and the stepsisters. We also really enjoy Donald's Safari Breakfast at Tusker House at AK. Donald is there greeting, and then you...

    Best snacks at each park!

At MK--definitely Dole Whip (pineapple float), and it isn't even close! At Epcot--School Bread from Norway (some other items look good there, but I love the School Bread too much to get anything else!). Also enjoy many items from the French Patisserie. At AK--?? haven't really found...

What do you think about these for TS?

Another vote for Beirgarten at Epcot! Great atmosphere, good food and German beer, if you are into that! I would also highly recommend California Grill, especially if you are not going to the MK on this trip--you can still watch Wishes from there. We also love Boma and Sanaa!

    1900 park fare or akershus

We have also enjoyed both Akershus and 1900 Park Fare for breakfast and dinner. If you are looking to meet princesses, Akershus is definitely the way to go. We have actually enjoy lunch there more than breakfast--we were very pleased with the lunch selections and the cold buffet bar. If it...
