    Must foods when visiting disneyland

Other favorites include the chicken sausage in a pretzel roll (with or without sauerkraut) at Village Haus, the Hot Angus Roast Beef at Holly Jolly Bakery, the beef Burrito Sonora at Rancho del Zocalo, the ribs at Taste Pilots, and the Spicy Korean Beef at Lucky Fortune Cookery. For dessert...

Review of the new Matterhorn seats

I'm 6'2", and the ride is not only no longer fun, it is downright painful. This from a former Matterhorn lover. :(

<><> The "Official" DISNEY RECIPE Exchange! <><> 1850+ recipes!

I'm looking for the Crepes LaFayette recipe that I believe was published in Mickey's Cooking Around the World cookbook. Unfortunately, it got lost in the move. If you can help me out, I'd be very grateful! It was a family favorite!

One day with kids in "Hollywood"?

How about taking in a movie at the El Capitan, grabbing some ice cream at the Disney Soda Fountain (attached), check out the Walk of Stars, Mann's Chinese Theater, the Nokia Theater, view the Hollywood sign from the mall across the street from the El Capitan, souvenier shop, grab a coupon and...

    Ghost Galaxy?

We are crazy about Ghost Galaxy, but think it is fairly scary. Perhaps it is similar in scariness to The Mummy ride at Universal Studios Orlando. Judging by the lines that form at DL, we are in the majority. Fastpasses go much more quickly for GG than SM, and standby waits are perhaps 50% longer.

Spend 1st day (Sat) "just looking"?

I fly into both LAX, SNA, and even ONT frequently. While I prefer SNA and/or ONT, I would fly into whichever airport gave me the best flight times. As for Saturdays at DL, the reports of huge crowds are widely exaggerated. On MOST weekends, Saturday is less crowded than Sunday. Plan a full...

What to wear at DLR next week

Consider shorts, t-shirt and flip flops/sandals (wear tennis shoes if highs don't hit 80). At night, always consider a light sweatshirt or wind shirt, and avoid flip flops/sandals.

    Seeking Predictions from Disneyland Experts

I agree. It depends on the ages of your kids. Mine are 15 and 12. I would start at DL, have a runner head over to DCA to grab World of Color fast passes (or get picnic meals with WOC in advance), ride Ghost Galaxy, Haunted Mansion, etc., and then head over to DCA. Grab a fast pass for Soarin or...

What would you rate World of Color?

    I give it a 10, and I'm a bit of a skeptic.

    Ticket Price Increases

Price increases seemed to target the shorter passes and less expensive annual passes.

Getting pretty freaked about the crowd reports

We go every week, and the crowds this past Saturday were the worst we've ever seen.

How Hot and Crowded are the parks?

Yes, that is life in SoCal. Keep checking the weather. There are very few horribly hot days, and remember that our humidities are always very low. My 15 year old daughter needs a sweatshirt EVERY weekend evening at Disneyland. As for the crowds, they are very manageable. All the SoCal...

    Question about Resident Summer Pass

From the Disneyland Site: Tickets are valid 45 days from first use. First use must occur between 6/11/10 through 8/29/10. So you have two problems, one of which is significant: 1) The first day of activation must occur by 8/29/10. Doesn't sound like that fits your plans. If someone can...
