Poor thing! I wonder if she was having bladder spasms. My dd has uti's all the time..and kidney infections too due to her birth defect. She stays on a maintenance does of antibiotics to try and avoid them...and if she misses a couple doses... she gets an infection. It sucks...so I feel for ya. If it is any consolation though, while ecoli sounds scary because of what we have heard of people getting sick with it. It really is a very common bacteria to colonize in the urinary tract system....and thus one of the easier ones to get rid of. So at least there is that... but... with the discomfort she was in... as I mentioned.. I wonder about the bladder spasms. (has she ever had them before?) They tend to be more than your average uti pain... and for my dd... that is the type of pain that send her over the edge. And... for my dd.. they come and go even without infection. I hope that isn't the case for Victoria. I hope she feels better soon and you all get the sleep you deserve!!!

Oh, Annmarie....it's so nice to have someone understand how horrible her pains can be. Ugh!!! I wonder about the bladder spasms. None of her doctors have ever mentioned that. I'm probably going to do some research on them. Maybe it is what she has.....I'm not sure. Thankfully the antibiotics have started to take effect and she's doing so much better. She actually slept all night last night and is acting like herself now. She's still in some pain, but so much better.

OH NO!!!! Poor Lizzie. Is it something she ate or is it the flu? It's so horrible when the kids are sick, isn't it. Tell her I hope she feels better soon!!!

Ugh, UTIs are the WORST! I’m glad she’s feeling better! As far as FB, I’ve pretty much stopped posting on there because I’m friends with too many of my relatives and coworkers! Too many people have access to my business when I post stuff on there! It has become for picture sharing only! Speaking of pictures – woo hoo for getting the Disneymoon scrapbook done! Ok, Ok.....I will take some pictures and post them probably tomorrow....It's getting late for me and I've been really busy today, but the laundry is done, folded and put away, breakfast, lunch and supper cooked and dishes done & put away.....only thing I didn't do is clean up after the little critters, but their cages will wait until tomorrow. I'm just beat by the emotional rollercoaster of this past week. Good news is Victoria is 100% better!! She still has to finish her antibiotics, but she's back to being a teenager......great?? Just kidding!!! I'm hoping this week will be a nice, quiet one!!

So sorry to hear about Victoria's UTI but glad to hear that she is feeling better. It sounds as if a couple of us had some sleepless nights a couple of nights ago. I was woken up by my son clibmbing into my bed with a 103 temp. Of course I freaked out, and called the doctor but was told to stay calm and give him tylenol. The next day was touch and go, but besides the temp there was no other symptoms. He was fine on Friday and has been fine. At least until last night when he started coughing non-stop. Gave him some albuterol and it helped. Just hoping all our kids are healthy when it is Disney Time.

Can't wait to see your scrapbook pictures.

And Lizzie is feeling better, she threw up pretty much from the time I picked her up from school at 1:30 on friday until saturday morning. She didn't feel too great on Saturday, but sunday morning she woke up fine!

I am so glad Lizzie is feeling better!!! And yes, Rusty would not sit nicely next to Cutie unless Peter held him in place......it's a cat/dog thing.....they don't like each other much.....

Are you serious? Well, we did get a dusting of snow on Sunday and sleet today, so I guess snow isn't out of the question for northern states, but sheesh! Hopefully, Mother Nature is showing us what she's got one last time this season and then she'll give us the Spring we've all been waiting for so patiently

Is this normal for Maine, or have you just had a really snowy Winter? It seems like every other post, you're talking about snow! I'd be over it too!
