I just realized today when I watched Y&R that the actor playing this Phillip on the phone with Cane is the same actor that played Phillip Chancellor III last; the one who supposidely died all those years ago!!!

That is way cool. So is he going to play himself which means he somehow didn't die or is he playing his son, Phillip Chancellor the IV????????

Oh and the actor is in fact really gay and now he's going to play a gay person. Maybe he faked his death because he was gay and wanted to live his life....without Nina!

Inquiring minds want to know!

Okay, now I am confused as *%^$!!!!! I know the actor (Thom Bierdz) is gay in real life. But I thought the character of his and Nina's son, Phillip IV was the one who was going to be gay on Y&R.....Not Phillip III, played by Thom Bierdz.

Crap! Too many Phillips and too many gay characters rumored to be coming on at the same time. My brain can't handle it.

Thom was always to-die-for cute, and he seems to have held up pretty well. But geez Louise, he's 46-47 or so. Since his character (Phillip III) was supposed to be born on the same day/within days of Cane, and Cane has already been identified as 31-32, the writers are going to have their hands full with that. Nina's played by a 40 y.o. and they have now cast a 27-28 y.o. as Phillip IV.

So Cane is supposed to have been able (theoretically) to have fathered a child at age 4 or 5 with a girl, age 12 at most. Alrighty! If they had at least cast an 18-20 y.o. as Phillip IV, it might have been a wee bit more plausible.

well if that can be true than as we know it dead is not dead in the soap world.

All i can see is every ones face when they see him. Maybe he was a twin and when switched, katheryn did not know this. So his twin will come back as Phillip and they will do a DNA test showing he is the real phillip and 5 years from know when they get around to it...will find out that as usual the DNA test was wrong

You would figure at this point they would not believe in a DNA test. We will all be going again..re do it will ya....

Wait a minute... Philip III is Jill's son right?? The one who "died" in the car accident- Philip IV is Nina's son..... so the guy on the phone couldn't be IV because Nina would know- she hasn't said anything about her son being missing or being bizarre or anything, right?

I hope whatever he's hiding it knocks him down a notch or two when it's revealed. He's so arrogant; no wonder why Neil likes him so much.

I remember that odd phone call - way back when he said, "Im in.." Didn't see anything suspicious after that, so I didn't think about it again until now.. I'm not a big fan of Cain - he's a little "too" good - KWIM?

What I really want them to do is bring back Phillip II .....The one Katherine was married to and Jill had the affair with. Maybe he didn't die in that over-the-cliff crash! Maybe he was recisitated and decided he didn't want any part of Kay OR Jill, so he played possum.

Then when Phillip III was in his drunken car crash, Phillip II got him after he passed out, but wasn't really dead. So Phillip II could be UNCLE Langley and Phillip III could just be plain old Langley, because I don't think Cane used "Uncle" during the phone call.

Just a suggestion.

The cure...well that is a mystery and only watching the Y&R may cure it for you if the writers explain about the return of one Phillip Chancellor the III...I hope for your sake they do cause geesh ya look awful ...

Michael and Lauren have a romantic date night.
Lily/Daniel have a heart to heart and wish each other well in their new relationships.
Jill confides in Billy her money troubles. He offers her some of his trust fund to help.
Cane/Lily suggest to Billy/Chloe that this is a new beginning for the four of them after Chloe offers a heartfelt apology to derailing their engagement a year ago.
Jill overhears Kay and co. talking about the movie. Nina suggests getting Glenn Close to play Jill since she did a great job as Cruella De Ville. Nina's excited to dig deeper into the Chancellor history/mystery for the screenplay.
Amber catches the bouquet. Later, Daniel & Amber talk about her bio clock and marriage. He's not ready for either and tells her if she gives him an ultimatium, she better act on it. He's not changing his mind about this.
Billy tries to apologize to Mac and Jana/Kevin and get shot down both times.
Devon gets the whole story from Aunt Virginia. Tyra was taken in by their family but never legally adopted. Yo wasn't always a crack-ho and Devon's daddy doesn't know he's a daddy. The clincher: Tyra knew since she was a teen.
Katherine runs Billy off when she finds him badgering Mac on the Chancellor front porch.
A whole lot o' loving going on closing montage ... Lane on the orange couch, Tyra/Neil at his home, Kevin/Jana in the RS elevator

Next episode ... Chloe/Billy get frisky. Paul surprises Mary Jane at her hotel suite.

Doesn't jill gave a Brother named Snapper? I have watched Y&R since I was 5 with my grandma, not so much anymore but I remember there being a Snapper. And if I am right, are he and Jill really brother and sister? If Katherine is not Jill's mom then who is? I will go back and read the other 134 pages, but was looking for a quick answer...

Jill grew up a Foster, and had 2 brothers. Snapper, and the one that was married to Nikki when she started stripping (can't remember his name). Before they changed the show's history, they were "real" brothers and sister. But with the horrible previous writing staff, it came out that Mr. Foster had brought a baby girl home with him one night, and Jill was really adopted.

Apparently Jill doesn't care who her real mom is, Kay doesn't care about finding her real daughter, and no one cares about who Phillip III really was!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
