You people who are planning your trips right now...

This year I am way ahead of schedule. We booked all three of our trips this year and the airlines have all been booked. We have the following trips planned.

March 21- 30 at Old Key West
October 18- 26 at Old Key West
December 3- 11 at Boardwalk

I usually get one trip out of the way before even thinking about the next but DH wanted to be way ahead of the game this year. We also got great flight prices when we booked for October and December this far out.

As soon as the MNSSHP and MVMCP tickets come out I will be purchasing them.

Our March trip is up in the air as FIL has been diagnosed terminally ill with a life expectancy of three months. We can only take it day by day. We had booked the March trip back in November before FIL became very ill. If it werent for my aunt and uncle along with my cousin who has MD coming along we would cancel it right now. My counsin who has MD has been slowly declining in health. This may be his last chance to go on a long trip. It is a catch 22 we are in.

I would if I could. D'ya suppose I could support my Disney habit by making a living out of planning Disney vacations for others? Or would that just feed my addiction even more?

Sure! And I think good practice would be planning MY trip! :cheer2:

Then I'll tell you if your plan worked! :jumping1:

I am a planning fanatic. I have our reservations at FW for July. All ADRs are made and 2 tours booked. We have AP vouchers and plan to purchase DDE cards in June. Now, just get me through the school year! :teacher:

Planning a 2 week trip from June 9 - June 23. This is what we have planned so far....

Drive from Illinois (I want to do it in one day, but DH says we need a break..come on! Its only 16 hours!!)

Staying at the Fountains for a week and HGVC for the next

ADR all made!! Crystal Palace, Boma, Sci-Fi, Whispering Canyon and Flying Fish.

Just waiting for the big tax return to get the tickets! (please, please, please let it be at least $3000.00 :worried:

planning on 2 days at MK, MGM and Epcot and 1 day at AK. The rest of the time will be spent drinking tangaray and tonics by the pool :drinking1

I've really go it bad, I am already planning our next Disney vacation for May 07. We are going May 19th -27th. We plan to stay at All Star Movies for the majority of the time but we are going to stay at a nicer resort for two or three nights. (DD requested a pool with a water slide). I am going to book our rooms in June and start planning ADRs. We will be buying AP's for the first time on this trip. :yay: Right now I am researching trying to pick which other resort we should stay in. In the meantime we have one day left on our hoppers and I thinking I am going to try to get a mother's day trip out of that. How can they so no if it is mother's day. Maybe that one day will keep my happy until 07.

I am addicted to Disney and loving planning. DH and I alternate years picking where we vacation. Originally he had planned for us to go to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge TN and I thought I could tide myself over planning that trip, I had already ordered all kinds of tourist info. Now however he has changed his mind and we are going to spend the week camping at Stone Mountain Park in Georgia. We really love it there so I am fine with that, but I need something to plan and not much to plan there.

Everyone says don't go to MK first but I'm not sure I can keep myself away....try explaining to 4 yo princess freak that you aren't going to see Cinderella's castle first!

Oh well, no planning...what's the worse that can happen? We're still going to WDW in 4 days! :cloud9:

We'll be there the same time!!! I always try to at least stop in at the MK first ~ gotta see the castle.

We have lots of stuff planned. Breakfast at Park Fare, Dinners at Chef Mickey, Ohana, Whispering Canyon, the Castle & Park Fare (can you tell we like that place :-). Also lots of fun surprises for my family ~ :woohoo:

Our reservations are all set-hotel/tickets/dining...I keep playing around with schedules although I can't make ADRs until June (and won't really know the park hours until then...). :cool1: I thrive on all of it!!

We're going 4/13-4/20 POFQ. This year it will be me, DS (19yrs), DS (11yrs), DSis & BIL. My 19yr old will only be with us the first half of the trip, he has to get back to school. My DD(18) may come with us but she's hoping to go away with friends from her Senior class. Here's some of our ADRs: Cape May, Chef Mickey's, Coral Reef, Rose & Crown, Donald's, Crystal Palace, H&V(fantasmic) & Contemporary. We're also doing Cirque, a Wishes cruise & 2 tours(Magic Behind the Steamtrains & Mickey's Magical Milstones :teeth: )
We all know we're very lucky to be going - we really need our Disney. It's a wonderful place to be with family. :thumbsup2

I've had our room only for 4/29 thru 5/7 reserved for about 6 weeks, got our ADRs set about 2 weeks ago, and got a get DING yesterday [4 RT tickets on a N/S flight from Philadelphia to Orlando for less then $368.40]. I still need to get my AP [DW has her's already] and 2 7 day base tickets for DD and DGS.

Horror of all horrors, I was forced to extend our vacation by one day [untill 5/8] in order to get the great DING rate [$34 down and $39 back]. I don't know how I will be able to stand being at WDW for a whole extra day :rotfl:

got my package trip booked.

so hopefully in going in 4 weeks.

just started to plan now - (a little late, i know)

I've got my (offsite) hotel booked.
Gonna order my tickets on Feb. 10th.
Doing my ADR for Donald's Breakfastosauras in the morning.
Doing my ADR for Chef Mickeys on the 29th.
Watching airfares, but more than likely will drive to save $$.
Starting to plan the itenararie. (sp?)
Pouring over the UG.

Package is booked & deposit is paid for August with room, park passes, & dining. Airfare is booked & paid for.

I call for ADRs a week from Saturday. Days for each park are charted with estimated park hours, so all meals are plotted. The only wild card is that darn MGM breakfast! I'll have to leave a spot open for it.

We are not going to do La Nouba this time around, and it looks like I won't be parasailing, either. I have chronic back problems. DH kept griping at me about the cost of parasailing, then one day DS said "Won't that hurt your back?" DUH! Yes, it probably WOULD hurt my back!

Mickey's Magical Milestone tour is booked & paid for.

I need to give our flight info to our TA so she can book Magical Express for us, but since we are still more than 6 months out I imagine the flight numbers will change, and possibly the flight times. I'll enter our info in for automatic updates at 90 days out because the American Airlines system won't allow it earlier. Our friends who are coming with us have all of the above done for their trip, too. They just arrive the day after we do.

I bought shoes for myself and DS - need some sport sandals for DH. DS will need more shoes as we get closer, but I bought him a bunch of Teva sandals on clearance in all different sizes. Bought a new backpack and another Brita bottle, and I am constantly on the lookout for anything else that might be useful. Oh, also bought a swimsuit from Lands End. Half price!

Can't wait to be able to get more details in place! :moped:

DH and I were just discussing this last night when the umpteenth person from work came to ask us advice re Disney! :lmao:

We just joined AAA. I've mailed the card, and am waiting to get an official number so I can get the package with a discount. We know our dates, and where we'll be be..I just need to make it official.

I've been asking tons of questions so I can make all the decisions about where we'll eat. We've got the basics down. As soon as we get the dates for the MNSSHP, I'll be able to plan more.

I'm a huge planner. My dh thinks I'm nuts to start this early. But it really helps to pass the time :Pinkbounc

We are going in November, the week after Thanksgiving. We are DVC and can't make ressies for a 2BR @ WLV until April. I am counting the days already!! We already have tickets since we have 6 days left on our 10 day no expiration park hopper. I am already thinking about dining plans, but since the schedule for MVMCP and Candlelight Processional won't be out until May, I can't seriously plan any dining at this time. I am very excited though. We just went in October and already I am enjoying the planning for our next trip.

ETA: I don;t really know when the schedule comes out for MVMCP and C.P., but the CM I talked with the other day said I can make PS's 180 days ahead of time, which would be May and they would have schedules at that time. They could have them out sooner I hope!!!

Me too, I love to plan and I have many people calling me all the time asking me questions about WDW. My DB called me the other day and said he was thinking about going for spring break, and would I know of any good deals. Well don't you know I immediately dropped everything I was doing and ran to my computer. I was so excited I planned everything out for him, hotel, airfaire, dining, everything. Now he talls me he wants to go to the Bahamas instead. :sad2: Seriously though, I am considering taking some travel agent classes this summer, to get certified to be a travel agent. I am thinking about opening a home based business, AND i heard there is some kind of Disney College you can go to, to be a Disney specialist. How cool would that be? Right up my alley!!!!! :thumbsup2

We're lucky enough to have 2 trips planned.

We leave in 10 days for an 8 night stay at OKW. Airfare was selected 2 months ago. We have ADR's for 1900 Park Faire, Le Cellier and Liberty Tree Tavern, and our Disney Dining Experience card came in the mail last week. We also have our Magical Express luggage tags in hand. Oh, and we also have vouchers for our AP's.

We're also in the process of making our reservations for Christmas at WDW. Since we are DVC members, we're right in the middle of calling to reserve a 1BR at SSR for our 12/23 to 1/2 stay. Other than that, the only thing that we don't have to worry about for that trip will be the park tickets, since we'll be able to use our AP's.

A few more hours and I'll be single digit dancing.

We're visiting Disney on the Premium Plan and planning has been so fun! The trip is eight months out but I've already worked up an itinerary. We're allowed a total of 24 meals and choosing the restaurants to eat at has been the best! In addition to the parks we're planning two rounds of golf, two tours, parasailing and La Nouba. I love planning!

3 rooms at Pop...park tickets with park hopper & the "water park & more" option...and the dining plan.

I know everyone will want to go their own way at times, so I am just planning one TS dinner each night for all of us to definitely be together. These are the restaurants so far...
Teppanyaki
LeCellier
Crystal Palace (breakfast, actually)
OHanas
Chef Mickeys

Well, that's it so far... :wave2:
