Another question - when I go to file the FVF credit the criteria for filing says you should have filed a NPD alert first?

You have no choice..one won't happen without the other. However, when you fill it out and pick (I can't remember the exact wording), mutually agree to not go through with sale..the Final credit pops right up and you don't have to wait to get it. Nothing goes on the other persons file when you pick that choice.

I usually give 7 - 10 days after they say they are mailing it, for it to arrive.

OK - I do not normally use the shipping calculator. I go by actual item weight. I invested in a small postal scale and figure the weight on a bunch of items at a time. Then when I am creating my auctions, I decide as I am writing up each one how that item will be shipped (Priority, FC, Media, etc). I have the PO rate page on my favs and just flip over to there to check. If I need to calculate by ounces etc, I use the Shipping Assistant which I have downloaded on my PC.

HOWEVER, that is not answering your question!!!

On Sparedollar, when you are creating your listing, under the Shipping Costs section, just select the Tab marked 'Calculated Shipping Costs'. (It defaults to 'Flat Shipping Rates' - just click the tab to the right of it). Make sure you have marked the dot directly above that says 'I know my shipping costs and will provide them know'. Put in your weight, select the shipping type from the drop down menu, enter your zip and your handling fee - just like eBay.

There you go!!!

3. On left side, select Create New Ad

4. Check Sell Item at Online Auction & click Next

5. Your auction listing page will be displayed in the following sections:

Title
Subtitle
Pricing & Duration
Categories
Ebay Features
Location
Counter Style
Embedded Gallery
Payment Methods

You can create them and save them in Spare Dollar as custom templates and use them in your auctions!! Unfortunately I am an HTML idiot!!!!!!!!!!!!

I use Netscape Composer for my HTML editor. It works great, just like a word processor. And the best part is you don't need to know HTML to use it.

HTML - the language of web pages - if you right click on this page and hit 'View Source' , you will see the HTML language.

Okay, I need help! I did something really stupid and need to "fix it" as best I can. I put up an auction for Olive Garden gift cards, but I did it through TurboLister by revising an old auction I had for Bed Bath & Beyond GCs, only I forgot to change the picture!!! There are now bids and ebay won't let me add a picture, though I did put a note in the auction description apologizing and noting the error. I know I can add a picture with HTML within the description, but I don't have photos anywhere on the web to link to. Can anyone point me towards a site where I can upload my picture and link it quickly and easily? Does such a site even exist, lol? If not, I won't worry anymore. Gift cards sell for what they sell for and I doubt having the wrong pic will lose me any money, but it does make me look a bit stupid!

Even though my auction states that I only ship to the US, I had a Canadian buyer win an auction, pay thru PayPal and is now requesting that I send the item to a friend in the US!!!!

This is not a cheap item and I stand to lose quite a big chunk of change if things do not go completely right. I know that PayPal will not protect me if the item is sent to any address other than the verified address of the buyer. But the shipping costs of sending this item to Canada using traceable methods is 5 times what I charged for domestic shipping!!!!!

The buyer has a feedback rating of less than 20 and does have one negative in her profile. The negative was left by a powerseller with stellar feedback.

I'd like to see the auction thru but I just can't eat the cost of shipping to the buyer's verified address. Any help would be appreciated because I'd like to give the buyer some options.
